This week we have a gorgeous challenge for you ! VINTAGE WITH FLOWERS :-) sooo romantic eh ! :-)
Anna our 'old' and loved DT member just happens to be THE QUEEN OF PRIMA ,, so who better to join us for this challenge !!! :-) You have to pop over to her blog ,, or the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog to see her wonderful layout ! Fabulous ! :-)
The DT are showcasing Prima Flowers this week :-)The Simon Says Stamp store have a fabulous area in their store just filled with the most colourful array of flowers you can imagine ,,,, beautiful Prima blooms :-)
The prize this week is a $25 spending spree with free shipping in the Simon Says Stamp Store !
I made my card using my brand new Hero Arts Dandelion stamp that was in a DT pack form Heidi ,,,, how lovely is that !! :-) I know I will be using this alot ,,, isn t it beautiful ! :-) I think it made THE perfect frame for the Sarah Kay image I used :-)
I coloured the image with distress inks ,,, for a change :-) and inked the edges with the same inks ,,, :-) I then triple embossed and made the cracked glass effect,,, very old looking eh ! :-) The frame was made on my cricut and I embossed a swirly pattern in old gold EP :-) The papers are Basic Grey Origins. I also used a Basic Grey epoxy clip to hold the 'ticket' :-) the flowers are Prima which have been coloured with a copic air brush to match the colours perfectly :-) the brads are Kaiser Craft. I also added a charm to finish :-)
this piccy shows the 'cracked glass' a little better but it looks better IRL ,, maybe I should try taking a side view,,, hmmm ;-) Vicky has made a fabulous tutorial on this technique on the ABC Technique Challenge so I am entering this card into the challenge :-)
My Time to Craft Challenge,,,,, In the Frame
Allsorts Challenge ,,,, tags tickets or labels
The Copic Creations Challenge is colouring embellishments with copics :-)
