Simon Says ,,,, Get Well Soon :-)

It was lovely to see your cards last week ,, I am sorry if I didn't get to visit you all but as the challenge is getting more and more popular I am finding it difficult to keep up,,,,, but I do try !! :-)

I am hoping that you are all OK ,, I know one or two of you have been a bit poorly with viruses so I hope you're feeling better now x x When we chose this weeks challenge ,,,, a while ago ,,, there was alot of publicity about the dreaded flu and thought we might all need a GET WELL SOON card or 2 ! :-)

This week we have a very special guest joining us in the Designer Spotlight,, her name is Hanna of Hannas Hobbyblog,,, she is only 13 years old and is an inspitation to all ,, if you haven't visited her blog,, you really should ,, her work is stunning :-)

The usual fabulous prize from Heidi applies :-)

I made my card using a gorgeous HM stamp,, this one is called House Mouse Rubber Stamp MOUSE DROPS Get Well :-) Cute eh !! :-) I followed the fab sketch on the Create4fun Challenge I flipped the sketch and used an oval instead of a rectangle ,, hope thats OK ?? :-)

I coloured the image with copics and cut them out so I could decoupage them onto the background,, they look more well fed when I do that ,,, more rounded :-)

It is not showing up very well on the photo but the poorly mouse does have a red blush to his cheeks ,,, caused by the fever !! :-) The papers are Basic Grey from the Granola pad ( I think but don't quote me cos the cover fell off ! ) the flowers are white prima that I coloured with copics and home made glimmer mist,, using antique linen distress ink and pale pink perfect pearls :-) They do look lovely and shimmery IRL. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Clear Stamps SENDING SUNSHINE Exclusive Set The ribbon is from my stash and the brads are by Kaiser
,,, I must say these brads are lovely ! The leaves were punched with a Martha Stewart punch :-) Think thats all :-)

Hanna and the DT have made some wonderful creations for you this week ,, there may be hidden candy so go and visit all the blogs to find it ! :-)

I have chosen this fabulous HM stamp as my weekly blog candy sponsored by Heidi at Simon Says Stamp store :-) Would you like it ??? The candy post is at the top of my blog ( or will be soon if you arrived here early !! :-)

Thanks for looking and I really appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

WAHOO!! This is an awesome card. I might have to steal your idea to 'rounding' out the mice. I love HM stamps and am always looking for ways to bring my cards to the next level. I believe congrats are in order as I thought I saw your name on the list moving ahead to round 2 of the HM design team hunt. I'm rooting for you!
