Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I used a  MFT Birthday Cake Die and a Black and White Stripes 6x6 Paper Pack 

Isn't this cake die FAB!! I love the quirkiness of it and I know that I am going to use it LOTS!!! :-)  I coloured with Copic Markers and for the starry confetti background I used a Falling Stars Stencil, Worn Lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade distress Oxide Inks. 

and I used the leftover scrap of paper to coordinate the envelope, sometimes its just the  little touches that make all the difference ;-)

Simon Says: Make Your Own Background

This week we are welcoming the lovely Kerstin aka Scrapbook Dreams into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven't visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

I made a card using  Zini 35 and a Jofy 19 Cling Stamps, I love this little kitty! fabulous quirky don't you think! :-)

I coloured the images with Copic Markers, fussy cut them out and then started on the background. I started by splattering Distress Resist and when this was dry I blended Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks, which I then splattered with water and sprinkled Slime and Royal Blood Infusions and spritzed again. 

I then used a Tim Holtz Bubble Layering Stencil and White Embossing Paste to add some texture, I splattered this with some Dylusions London Blue, White Linen and Twisted Citron Distress Spray. I also used a Paper Artsy Jofy 61 Stamp Set to add the berries down the left side
