Wild Rose Studio 'Santa With Champagne'

Thinking of all of my friends across the pond who have suffered in the latest hurricane to hit Florida, sending huge hugs and keeping you all in my thoughts XXX 

I am here to share a card I made using a new and super cute Santa With Champagne Clear Stamp from the Wild Rose Studio 

I coloured with Copic Markers and added a little shading with Polychromo Pencils. I used a Tim Holtz Embossing folder to add texture to the red panel.

For the background I used a very pale Archival Sky Blue ink and a Tim Holtz Christmas Stamp. I used 2nd generation stamping so the effect is very subtle and doesn't show up very much on the pics. 

and I finished the inside.

Simon Says Stamp 'Big Picture Book Puppy'

Hi all :-) I am here to share a card using products from the fabulous Simon Says Stamp 'Fun and Festive' release!!

I am in love with these Big Picture Book Dies, so cute!!

Yesterday I shared THIS CARD using the lovely  Big Picture Book Jack Russel Die Set and today I used the adorable Big Picture Book Puppy Die Set  

I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink over the background and used a Falling Snow Stencil, White Embossing Paste and Prisma Glitter to add texture and sparkle. 

I used a Critter Sweaters Stamp Set and green card stock to make him a jumper and gave him a little fesive bow too, doesn't he look dapper!! ;-)

and I finished the inside

Simon Says: Anything But A Card

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I used a Cross Stitch Stitch Tag Die and Lip Balm Window and Frame Die and Lip Balm Shaker Pouches 

Cross Stitch used to be a hobby of mine so it was lovely to pick up a needle and Embroidery Floss again and make these tags!! I have to say, I love them and will definitely be making more of these! 

I used the partial die cut technique, ie, hang the lower edge of the die over the edges of the cutting plates and then moved it down a bit to elongate the tags. 

I actually bought several lip balms, there are 10 pouches in the pack so I fully intented to use them all. However, I now know that not all lip balms fit into these pouches! I have a bag full of Nivea to prove it ;-) My advice would be to take a pouch with you to the store and check to see if they will fit,  these are Blisteeze and they are a perfect fit. To make them look a little more festive I wrapped them in scraps of Christmas paper  ;-) 

I am going to make up 'Pamper Hampers' with lotions and potions and used these to decorate the baskets for my family and friends, I am so excited!!! I am sure they will love them!!

Big Picture Book Jack Russel

Oh my goodness! Simon Says Stamp is here with a fabulous 'Fun and Festive' release!! 

I was sent a few samples to play with and I just LOVE this super cute  Big Picture Book Jack Russel Die Set ! 

Look at that face! Lets call her Lucy today, she has just smelled the birthday cake and has popped her head up over the top of the table!! haha

I coloured with Ciopic markers and added some white gel pen for highlights

and I finished the inside using a Picture Book Labrador and of course the cake thats causing all the trouble ;-)
