Simon Says: Clean And Simple on the Wednesday Challenge

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I can hardly believe that we are already into the 2nd week of Stamptember!! have you been following the awesome inspiration and events every day on the Simon Says Stamp Blog!! Its is brilliant and I am having a great time following all the goings on! 

This week the challenge is

Clean And Simple! 

We are showcasing CASual Friday Products this week! You don't have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have some we would love to see them used!
The lovely Michele Gross, owner of Cas-ual Fridays very kindly provided the design team with products to use for this challenge and we would like to say a huge thank you! x

I made a set of 3 cards using a Treble Clef and Funfetti Dies and a Heartfelt Sayings Clear Stamp Set to make a fun little set of  CAS cards!

Fot this 1st one I used my new and super fabulous We R Memory Keepers Sewing Machine to stitch the staves (I think thats what they're called) and just added a few random hearts for a pop of colour.

 This one was inspired by THIS card made by the lovely Marzena aka Macarena 

For the 2nd one I made a simple shaker.

and last but not least I splattered the background with ink to add a bit more oomph ;-)

Tim Holtz Stamptember Stamp and Stencil Set!

I LOVE STAMPtember!! It's a special time of year in Simon's crafty calendar when loads of fabulous  companies get together to collaborate and design special stamps especially for the event! LOVE it :-)

I am so lucky to have been set this absolutely FABULOUS Stamp and Stencil Set designed by the one and only Tim Holtz!! Thank you Heidi and all at Simon says Stamp XXX and of course Tim XX ;-)

Don't forget that this set is only available for a limited time, so if you don't hurry up and get one you will miss out, once the stock is gone thats it, no more will be produced!!

Don't you just love Rudolph strolling through the snowstorm being sheltered by the trees and his red nose being lit by the glow of the silvery moon ;-) haha 

I tore a strip of masking paper and used that to create the snowy ground before using Antique Linen, Tumbled Glass and Broken Twigs Distress Inks for the background. I then splattered with water and when that was dry I silver heat embossed the wood slice 'moon'.

 I used Archival Black Ink for the deer and Moss Green and Broken Twigs for the Trees 

I then used a Simon's Exclusive Snowfall Stencil to add texture and brightness. I used the stencil and Archival Black Ink for the sentiment. 

and I finished the inside

Of course a special card deserves a special envelope!
