Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit Card No2

Happy Sunday!

I am back with another card made using the LOVELY February 'Sweetheart' Card Kit  from Simon Says Stamp.

As you all know I love shaker cards and my Fuse Tool is being well used ;-)

 I stamped some little stars using black and red ink to create a cascade and popped a few of the heart confetti and 'love' stickers from the kit. 

and this is the LURVELY Kit! ;-)

Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Hi all, hope you're having a fabulous weekend! I know that there are blizzards in some area's so if you are affected, stay home in the warm and drink hot chocolate :-D

I just received this LOVELY February 'Sweetheart' Card Kit  from Simon Says Stamp. 

and this is my first card using it 

I was never a great fan of stickers to be honest, but these new glossy puffy ones are FAB with a capital 'F'!! The 'LOVE' and big red heart are stickers!! AWESOME!! 

I stamped and heat embossed the circle hearts and then coloured them with a R27 Copic Marker. I then painted the hearts with a Wink Of Stella Brush before smothering with Glossy Accents. Jennifer McGuire discovered this technique a while ago and it really does make the hearts super sparkly.

Newton's Nook 'Sweetheart Tails'

I did hesitate before posting this but then after a bit of encouragement from my teamies I thought 

'OH' 

and posted it ;-)

I inked the background with Distress Inks and then sealed with Micro Glaze before splattering with White Ink.

I didn't take a pic of the inside but it says 'It's Only Another Birthday!'

This sentiment is used in appeals to keep the ban on fox hunting. I can't imagine why anyone would want a return to the barbaric 'sport'. It just doesn't bear thinking about.
