Simon Says: Wrap It Up

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This weekend is the CREATE event! Woo Hoo! Are you coming? Is so I would love to meet you, it is brilliant to get to meet crafty buddies IRL :-)
I am here at the Simon offices helping to prepare, the whole place is buzzing with excitement!! We can't wait for everyone to arrive!! ;-)

This week the challenge is

WRAP IT UP

You can make a gift wrapping, a tag, a card with some ribbon or twine wrapped around it, or maybe you have another idea of your own! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

We are showcasing MAY ARTS PRODUCTS this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

I used a gorgeous Lawn Fawn Goodie Bag Die and made this little Christmas Gift Bag

I love white and gold together, I might have mentioned that a few times already ;-) I made a simple background using a Falling Snow Stencil and some White Embossing Paste. I am in love with the Circle Loops Die, isn't it gorgeous! I cut them out of white and gold cardstock, layered them together and popped some vellum underneath.

Simon Says Stamp Birthday Frame Card

Happy Sunday, how are you all on this fine sunshiny day? I hope all is well and hope you're having a great weekend :-D

The lovely Heidi sent me a few products from the STAMPtember release and this gorgeous Birthday Frame Die was in the parcel, isn't it FABULOUS!! Perfect for shakers!!

For the background I had a go at plaid stamping, although I wish I had watched one of the fabulous Laura Bassen's video's first ;-) the frame hides a multitude of sins, haha. I used a selection of the new Simon's Hybrid Ink Pads, i.e. Blue Jay, Jellybean and Scuba.

For the 'boy' die cut I coloured with the same Blue Jay ink, then gave it a good coating with a Wink Of Stella Pen before smothering with Glossy Accents.

Of course I had to use a little kitty from the Baby Party Animals set, the critters in this set are a perfect size to go with this Birthday Frame Die

Simon Says Stamp November 'Handmade With Love' Card Kit

I am in Ohio helping out at Simon Says Stamp and I have actually helped make up a few of these boxes and I am sure you're going to LOVE whats in this November Kit!!

For mu first one I used the gorgeous leaf stamps to create a background which I then overplayed with vellum to soften the colours.

For my 2nd card I used white embossing for the sentiment and added one of the gorgeous chipboard pieces, I love the colours on this one.

I added a few sequins to both for a bit of sparkle ;-)

If you haven't made a subscription to receive the monthly kits, you might want to think of doing it! They are always fabulous and they sell out so quickly, you wouldn't want to miss out ;-)
