A Card For Winnie :-)

Good Morning all :-) I am here today to share an appeal on BBC Radio Sheffield, more details below.

I used Hero Arts Soft Blossom Ink and Flourish Cling Stamp for the background. or the main panel I splattered and spritzed with  Gold Shimmer Spritz and Blush Spritz. I will link all the products in the inlinkz at the bottom of this post.

I thought that such a special occasion deserved a special custom envelope too ;-) 

This is 99 year old Winnie.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WINNIE :-)

She was born in Sheffield, and has lived in the city her whole life.

It's her 100th birthday at the end of May, but she has no family at all and not much contact with the outside world, apart from her carers.

We'd love to make her landmark birthday really special - can you help?

To start with, we'd like to get Winnie some birthday cards and letters to open on her big day.

June Card Kit Card No 2

I am here with another card made using the new and oh so fabulous Simon Says Stamp June 'Be Happy' Card Kit  I think this kit has to be the best one yet ! I just LOVE the colourful card stock, stamp set, papers. and the cute little   Smile Die :-)

I made the banner using the stamps in the kit and various colours of Simon's Ink Pads. The bike was a pre coloured panel in the paper pack and I just  pimped it a bit with some stickles glitter, a glitter pen and some glossy accents.

I made the arrow using the washi tape, also from the kit. 

and this is the 'Be happy' kit is all its glory :-) 

Do you subscribe to get the kit every month ? If not I would really recommend that you do, it's like having a birthday every month when the parcel pops through your door and it's $5 cheaper ;-)

Simon's June 'Be Happy' Card Kit is here !! :-)

SMILE !! it's the 14th of the month and that means it's time for Le Grande Reveal of the Simon Says Stamp June 'Be Happy' Card Kit !1 Woo Hoo !

I love the summery colours and papers in this kit and the 'Smile' Die is super cute. I stamped a background using co-ordinating inks and then thought they were a tad too bright so I overlayed with a strip of vellum, it now has a lovely soft feel I think. 

The Smile Die was just made to shake ! Thats what I think anyways, so I made a little fun shaker. 

I really should finish the inside of my cards every time. I think it really makes all the difference and finishes them off so nicely.
