Simon Says,,,Butterfly Drift

Hi all :-) I have had a lovely day doing hardly anything ,,, made some cards, visited some blogs,,, went for a swim ,, :-)

On my recent visit to Simon Says Stamp I picked up some new goodies, and I used a few of them today !! The recent release Butterfly Drift is so pretty and as the challenge over on the Less Is More Challenge is Watercolours I thought I would also open my new box of Gelato's and give them a whirl ,,, LOVE 'EM 

I have to thank Shari Carroll here for really introducing me to them properly, she gave a FANTASTIC class during the Simon Says Stamp CREATE event using them and was completely hooked ! :-)

Anyways I made 4 cards using the Butterfly Drift die and a variation on techniques.

I scribbled 3 shades of yellow Gelato's onto Neenah cardstock, sprayed with a little water and blended with my finger.

On this 2nd one I used acetate for the butterflies to 'fly' on :-)

now for a colour change. I sprayed and splattered on this one 

and last but not least ,,, I think this is my fave ,,, saved the best for last :-)

ANYTHING GOES

We are showcasing American Crafts Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

I used DIY Shop 6x6 Paper Pack and DIY  Shop Cork Stickers

I do love shaker cards and when I saw THIS CARD by the lovely Kelly Alverez it gave me the idea to make a star shaped one for a change :-)

I used Simon's Soft Navy Cardstock for the base card and I just love thi DIY Paper pack, the cork paper looks real and matches the real cork stickers perfectly. I added some Twinklets Diamond Dust in with the sequins as this makes a great shaker sound,,,, it is quite heavy, a bit like granulated sugar and is perfect for shaker cards.

I used a Silhouette Cameo to write the sentiment.
