Art Impressions 'Wine Tasters'

Hi all :-) It's time for a new theme over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge and as it's the last Tuesday of the month that means it's a ,,,

It was a friends birthday recently and this is the card I made for her, she is partial to a drop or 3  of sparkling rose wine so I thought this Wine Tasters image from Art Impressions would be perfect for her ,,, and well ,,, almost all of my friends actually. I can see this stamp getting a lot of inkings :-)

House Mouse 'Gifts to Tie'

Happy Monday !! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are looking forward to a fabulous week :)

I am here with a reminder for you not to forget to join in with the House Mouse and Friends Challenge. The theme for this fortnight is 'Pop it Up', so just add some dimension to your card and join in ! 

I recently bought this House Mouse  'Gifts to Tie' cling stamp and made a shaker card. 


I used a Polaroid Die from Lawn Fawn to make the frame and kept the design fairly simple. I used a new cardstock colour from Simon's recent release, this one is slate grey,,, love this colour with mauve paper !

Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit Card

Hi all :-) I hope you're all enjoying a lazy Sunday and managing to find some crafty time :-)

I have another card to share today using the May card Kit from Simon Says Stamp.  I know I have said it before but i think these kits are such a great deal ! So many products in there and for a bargain price + when the kit arrives it feels like receiving a birthday pressie every month :-)

I made this following this weeks fab sketch on the Less Is More Challenge 


I love making shaker cards,, I always think they are so much for fun, especially for small children.  I used the star stencil to create the starburst and used star sequins and some diamond dust for the shake, the diamond dust is quite heavy and makes a fab 'shaker' sound. 
I used some plaid paper from the kit to paper piece the sneakers.
