House Mouse Lovely Confetti :-)

Have you joined in with the House Mouse and Friends 'Love' Challenge yet ?? If not WHY not ??? haha ,, you still have another few days left to get out those LOVE'ly stamps and give them an inking :-)

I used this super cute Lovely Confetti image, chopping off little Monica from the side who is throwing the confetti ,, aww poor Monica :-/ 

I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut the heart shapes and it doesn't really show very well in the photograph but I used a Falling Hearts Stencil and some Perfect Pearls to sponge a shimmery heart background. I LOVE these papers from Prima  !!

Hero Arts Spring Branch 'Thanks' Card

Hi all and a Happy Monday to everyone :-) 

I recently bought a few of the new Hero Arts products and was inspired by THIS card by Lisa Spangler, I actually bought the ink daubers and the background stamp after I saw Lisa's card :-)

I am in love with these pastel daubers, the colours are so soft and creamy. I made a rainbow of pastel shades by just swiping the various inks over the stamp. I coloured the branch with the daubers too and love the way the colours just blended together. I shaped the die cut using some embossing tools, this removes those little dots created by the die and gives them a more natural rounded shape. 

I followed this weeks sketch over on the Splitcoast Stampers site and used the Simon's Exclusive 'Thanks on a Line' die to fit in with the sketch ,,, perfect :-)

Simon Says Exclusive 'Hello'

Hi all :-) how are you on this lovely sunny Sunday morning ? :-) 

I am here to share a card I made using some of Simon Says Stamp Exclusive products. I was inspired by THIS gorgeous card designed by Debby Hughes that I saw on the Simon Says Stamp Blog a while ago and have been meaning to CASE ever since :-) 

I started by lightly misting and splotching some plain white card with various sprays then left it to dry before using a Leaves Stencil to sponge some Apple Green ink through and then applied a layer of embossing paste. This gives a lovely soft texture and I am now onto my 2nd jar :-) LOVE this stuff ! I then used a coordinating die cut to cut the leaves from vellum which I then scored the leaf veins into using an embossing tool. 

I coloured some white ribbon with the spray and have only just noticed the ink line along the edge so I will do that again, I will colour it before creating the bow this time,, you live and learn eh ! I often find that any oopsies are more visible on a photo than IRL,, do you find that ?  :-)

I added a die cut 'hello' and die cut Pointed Feathers and a few enamel dots and tiny crystal gems to finish.
