Anything Goes on Lili’s Little Fairies Challenge :-)

Hi all, I am back with my 2nd card of the day, this one is for the Lili’s Little Fairies Challenge ,,, 

ANYTHING GOES !!

I used this very cute Window Box image and made an easel card :-) I actually got the challenges mixed up so it’s a good job it’s an Anything Goes week !

I coloured with Copics and used  Spellbinders Beaded Circles and Inverted Scalloped Circle dies to cut the image and mat. I used plain white card, Sizzix Dots and Flowers embossing folders and Soft Pool shadow ink and created the designs with the faux letterpress technique.

I used Bazzill Whirlpool card for layering, this was in the Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit ,,,, love these kits ,, :-) I used Memory Box Butterfly dies, a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner die and a Martha Stewart border punch. I bought the ribbon from a craft shop in the UK and added a punched flower and added a Doodlebug button and some twine to finish :-)

Child’s Birthday on the Crafty Ribbons Challenge :-)

Good Morning all :-) I hope you’re all fit and well and manage to find some crafty time :-)

I am here with a mid week reminder for the Crafty Ribbons Challenge ,,,

CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY

I used this very cute Hero Arts image from a Sweet Wonderful You set that I won on Pinky’s Blog :-)

I coloured with Copics, cut her out and created a background with a copic air brush.  The chevron paper is from an American Crafts Sketchbook pack  and I embossed a panel of white card using a Whimsy M-Bossibilites folder.  I coloured the layering card with Picked Raspberry DI and added a heart swirl die, some  gorgeous flowers from Maya Road which were in an August Card Kit, these are actually the exact same colour but photographed red !  I added a C.C Designs Clouds Die cut and stamped some little hearts from the same stamp set. I finished with some of the gorgeous Happy Birthday ribbon from Crafty Ribbons that is on offer for this challenge ! :-)

JOY’S EERIE INSPIRATION

Our lovely teamie ,Joy, created this fabulous Pinterest board for us to use :-)

I used this fabulous Witch from a new Penny Black Best Witches set. Isn’t she gorgeous !  I know witches are supposedly ugly, green and warty, but she is more of a ‘Charmed’ sort of beautiful witch eh  :-)
 I loved the picture of the witches legs sticking up with the green and black stripey stockings and the haunted house, so I used those 2 pictures mainly for my inspiration :-)

I coloured her with Copics and fussy cut her out ,,, took me ages ,,, she would be fab as a stamp and die cut !!! Isn’t her little cat cute,,, looks just like my Cassie or Jack,,,, :-)

If you were here yesterday you will recognise the  haunted house and spiders web that were cut on the Silhouette Cameo as I used them on my PTW card :-) The moon was coloured with Pumice Stone Distress Ink and then smothered with Perfect Pearls ,, really beautiful and shimmery IRL.  I added Star Dust Stickles onto the windows and glossy accents on the spider, I also used a white gel pen for the eyes. The papers are from a new Bazzill Basics All Hallows Eve pack ,,, LOVE these :-)

I also made a little treat bag :-) Unfortunately we don’t celebrate Halloween here so I had to eat all the liquorice allsorts,,, shame eh ! :-) I had to buy 2 big bags to get just the right sweeties !! :-)

Snowman Hugs ,,,,,, :-)

Hi all :-) Christmas is only 68 days away and as we need to get the cards in the post a couple of weeks in advance at least then there’s not much time left is there !! I hope you’ve all started your preparations ! I must say I have a box full now !YAY !!

I used this cute Wild Rose Studio image called Snowman Hugs,

 which is available to buy in Stamp and Create :-)

I coloured with Copics and inked the edges with Tumbled Glass DI andf added glossy accents to their noses. I then added Star Dust Stickles and dotted the snowflakes with a Viva Decor Ice White pearl pen. I have just bought this fab Spellbinders Fancy Ribbon Threader and cut it out of blue card, layering it on silver stardream and added some saddle stitch ribbon from Crafty Ribbons. So simple and easy to do, expect to see more of these ,,,, :-)

Hi all :-) No points for guessing the theme over on the Papertake Weekly ,,, I think most challenges have the same/similar theme so lots of scope for entering loads of challenges ! :-)

I put my Silhouette Cameo machine through its paces and cut everything on it ! 

The ghost was a freebie from SVG cuts, I cut this out of white card, sprayed with Studio Calico Shine and popped up on a wobble ,,, so cute IRL,, I spent ages playing with him, making him shake while I made woohooo ing noises ,,,, lol :-)  Doesn’t take much does it ,,,,, :-)  don’t answer that :-)

The haunted house was from the silhouette store as was the spider and his web. I made the silvery moon by inking plain white card with Pumice Stone DI and then smothering with perfect pearls ,, so lovely and shimmery IRL.  I added star dust stickles on the windows, glossy accents on the spider and dotted the eyes with a white gel pen.  I LOVE this Bazzill All Hallows Eve pack, the paper designs are fab and such a lovely quality, almost as thick as card ! I coloured plain white card with Dusty Concord Distress Ink for layering  

 

I couldn’t resist popping another ghost on the inside :-)

Midweek Squeeek for ATC Turn-arounds :-)

Hi all :-) I am back again with a reminder for the House Mouse and Friends Challenge :-)

The current theme is to make an ATC ( Artist Trading card, which measures 2 and a half by 3 and a half inches ) and make it into a card or somethin ,,,, :-)

I used this very cute House Mouse image from an unmounted set from Joanna Sheen called  Singing Angels, the wood version is called  Along for the Ride  and is a little bit bigger.

I coloured with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky and Pumice stone DI. I tore some plain white card and embossed with a Sizzix snowfake folder, the paper is from a Memory Box Pixie pack and I added Star of Wonder stars and a punched Himalayan snowflake. I finished with oodles of stickles and a little Crystal glitter.

Wise Wishes for Less is More Challenge :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you all had a lovely weekend :-)

This week on the Less is More Challenge Mandi and Chrissie are asking for one layer with wings :-)

As I have to post so many Christmas cards I think one layer is BRILL,,, cheaper to post ! so I got out my Wise Wishes stamp from Penny Black and inked it up :-)

I used a spellbinders label die to create an embossed frame and used a stamp positioner to get the image placement right, then stamped with Archival ink onto plain white card ,,,, mistake there ,,, I should have used watercolor paper :-/   I used Distress Markers to colour ,,, need more practise  ,,,, I didn’t want to use copics cos they would have shown through on the inside. I then smudged some light blue pan pastels over the background, then added oodles of Star Dust stickles, some crystal glitter, glossy accents and highlighted the cones with a galaxy marker.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts and I embossed this with clear EP.
