Party Time for House Mouse and friends ! :-)

Hi all :-), did you all have a lovely weekend ?,, did you go to the NEC ?? ,, if so I am sure you have plenty of new goodies to play with so get them out and use them to join us on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge :-)

This fortnight it’s our lovely teamie, Dorte’s, turn to choose the theme ,,,

Party Time !!! :-),,, ooh these meeces do know how to party !! :-)

I used my very cute ‘My Hat’s Onto You’ stamp, coloured with Copics and the edges inked with Victorian Velvet DI, then Star dust stickled. The papers are new from My Minds Eye from a Dolled Up pack, I inked the edges of the papers with the ink too. The banner and balloons were made on my fab Silhouette Cameo machine, Ithen stamped the banners using Hero Arts Friendly Flags stamps. I finished with some Doodlebug Bright Twine and a basic grey Button,smothered with stickles too ;-)

I have just made this card using the new release ‘Love Letters’ stamp set. I got out my distress inks and new distress markers and really enjoyed getting inky :-)

The card is pretty self explanatory so I will leave it there and list the products I used at the bottom :-)

havin’ a laugh ,,,,, :-)

Hi all :-) It’s almost the weekend and time to have some fun !! :-)

This week on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge it is Scoopy’s turn to choose the theme and she chose …

Humour :-) ,,, so typically Scoopy eh ! :-)

For my card I used a Stamps Happen ‘When All Is said and Done’ stamp. I kept the colours and design very simple on this ,, I used My Mind’s Eye papers from an ‘On the Bright Side’ pack, I paper pieced her pants and glittered her belt, coloured with copics and thats about it ! The charm is from my lovely buddy ‘America. and I used some enamel accents to make the black pearls :-)

A New Baby DT card for the Wild Rose Studio + DT call :-)

Hi all :-) as you may know I am on the DT of the Wild Rose Studio and Dulcie , the designer/owner, and her hubby, Matthew. have just had a new baby boy :-) Congratulations !! :-)

why then have I made a girl card ?? ,,, cos I don’t want anyone to see their card on here before they receive it ! :-)

I made this card using the ‘New Baby’ stamp from the Wild Rose Studio, coloured with copics and the edges inked with colorbox blue chalk ink. I cut out a grand scalloped circle on my Grand calibur for the base card, the papers are from Craft Creations and I used some ribbon and a sparkly heart button from The Ribbon Girl. I punched out the butterflies, both by Martha Stewart and sprayed them with a copic marker and a copic air brush, I then stuck them onto thin strips of acetate so they can fly ! :-) I added a few punched flowers and loads of Star Dust Stickles to finish :-)

This week the Design Team are showcasing MAGNOLIA PRODUCTS. If you have any Magnolia products, we would love to see them but tis up to you what you choose to use :-)

For my card I need to thank both Mandy and Jo for their gorgeous Tilda birthday cards, I used them for inspiration :-) It is ages since I coloured a Tilda so I was way out of my comfort zone so thanks so very much girls xx :-)

I used this oh so cute Tilda with Kitten image, coloured with copics, cut out and popped on a Tim Holtz Weathered Clock die cut which I had coloured with Vintage Photo distress ink The papers are from Magnolia , I used a plain design for the background and a cloudy one for the clock face. The postmark is a new cling stamp from Hero Arts called Untitled Postmark , I used a Martha Stewart PATP Pansy set and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The clouds were made with a C.C Designs Clouds die and I inked these with Stormy Sky DI, I also coloured the Monarch Butterflies with the same ink. The gorgeous rose is from Prima and I used a Heart Swirl die cut and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops to finish :-)

Hi all :-) Are you ready for Christmas ??? NO !!! me neither :-) BUT ,,, I am getting there !! Being on the ABC Christmas Challenge DT is brill !! I have a box which, by Christmas ,,, will be full ! :-) no last min panic for me ,,, noooo :-)

This week our deputy head, Helen, has chosen the theme ,,

For my card I used a new ( to me) House Mouse Peaceful Flight stamp, coloured with Copics and the edges inked with Colorbox pigment ink. I used some teal coredinations and paper from a Bo Bunny Snowfall pack. I cut out the trees on my new fab Silhouette machine and smothered them with Hero Arts Crystal glitter. The organza spotty ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I added a tiny snowflake, from an EK success border punch, a pearl, Star Dust Stickles and a sentiment to finish :-)
