Hi all ,,, well another Wednesday has arrived and that means it's time for a new theme on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge ,,, but before moving onto that I would like to say 'Hello' to our new DT girlie, Melissa :-) Welcome to the team !! :-)
AND Happy Birthday to teamie Heather, she is 21 again !! Woo Hooo :-) Hope you have a lovely day with lots of cards and cake :-)

As always our lovely boss Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a £50 spree to her fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store and with all the new goodies still pouring through the delivery hatch there is just sooo much to choose from :-)

The DT have all used stamps from Unity on their creations but you don't have to to join in :-)


For my card I used this lovely Humble and Gentle stamp ,,, I paper pieced the flower and leaves and just used a copic pen for the ladybird. I inked around the edge with Tumbled Glass distress ink and added Star Dust Stickles around the edges , then added Glossy Accents on the ladyird. The papers are Basic Grey Hopscotch and I added a few red Kaiser Craft pearls , some brown ribbon and some Jillibean twine thread. The button is from Basic Grey ,,, I have no idea where the sentiment came from and think it would have looked better without ,,, but when I tried to remove it it was tearing the paper ,,, :-( I think thats everything !!!

Oldie But Goodie Baby Challenge ,, GD card

This Penny Black Baby Hammock stamp was one of the very first ones I bought and is still one of my faves :-) I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink. The papers are Kaiser Craft and I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch , some ribbon, a ribbon slider and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops.

I made a tag to write a greeting on that could slide behind the welcome baby sentiment :-)

This House Mouse Citrus Bath stamp was one of the 1st ones I ever bought,,,, my fave tipple is G&T and this image is perfect for me !!! :-) I have used this stamp so many times isnt it CUTE !! I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edge with an orange chalk ink. The lemon paper is Kaiser Craft and the gingham is from Funky Fairys. The 'Cheers' is a Melissa Frances rub on and I added some gingham ribbon, some Star Dust Stickles and a few Robin's Nest Dew Drops to finish :-)

Hi all :-) I am back again this time with a card for the Stamp Something Challenge :-) The theme this week is

STAMP SOMETHING DIGI

For my card I was given a choice of images from Whimsey Stamps, there are various atrists to choose from and I chose this fab Birthday Cup Mouse from Meljen Designs. I coloured the image with Copics and decoupaged the mouse, cup and candles. I inked around the edge with Stormy Sky Distress ink and added glossy accents to the candles and star dust stickles here and there. The papers are Kaiser Craft, I sewed all the egdes and added some buttons and ribbon to finish .

For my card I chose to use some new products designed by Dulcie from the Wild Rose Studio.( WRS) All these products are available to buy in the Crafty Emma Store :-) The image is called Mia Gardening, I coloured her with Copics and added pearls to her hair and flower centers ,, I also gave her a little pair of pearl earrings using a new Viva pearl pen. The flowery paper is also from the WRS, this is from an Oriental Blossom paper pack. The sky was made by masking fluffy white clouds and air brushing with a blue copic pen ,,, I love my new compressor ,, did I tell you that already ??? :-) The lace was a gift from my HM&F teamie America xx and I added a MS Butterfly and a few Robins Nest Dew drops to finish.

WOYWW :-)

Time for another WOYWW hosted by the lovely Julia :-) This week instead of my usual disater area I have shoved everything off to the side and taken piccy's of my new stuff that just arrived,, so excited !!! :-)

OK ,, so stricly speaking the first piccy up isn't on my desk ,,, but the packet it came in is and I thought this was the prettier piccy of the 2 :-)

Isn't this fab !! I have only got one of these but I will be getting a few more for my other coloured ribbons ,, these were discovered at the CHA by Heidi's hubby and have just arrived ,,, fabulous invention eh ,,, on the same stand they had some gorgeous cupcakes made entirely of ribbons ,, very impressive :-) Obviously I am not going to hang them on the plants ,,I will get some hooks for the back of my cupboard door :-)

Ok ,,, whats on here ,,,a MS butterlfy punch ,, I have been wanting that one for ages ,, some fab BG Hopscotch paper , I love these MFT clear stamps ,, going to make my mum a mothers day card with those ,,, shhh ,, Oh the lovely PB bear stamp ,,, i won that on the PB Saturday Challenge ,,, thanks Kath and the DT xx ,, some Jillibean Bakers twine, Robins Nest dew Drops ,, another FAB new PB stamp called La Soiree ,,this is from the new collection :-) some new Tim Holtz stains and a pack of his GORGEOUS ribbons ,,oh ,, nearly missed out the faux snow ,,, very glittery ,,, and last but not least the packet that the ribbon ring tag came in :-)

OK ,,, just have to run the iron over a few shirts and then I'll be back to come and have a snoop around your crafty areas :-)

I thought I should ink up this Gruffie with Box of Ornaments again ,, the poor chap only had one inking so far ,,, and bears do like to be dirty you know !!! :-) I used Brown Memento ink this time,, it gives a much softer look :-) I coloured him with Copics and inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. the papers are Echo Park Merry Christmas , I embossed the green script paper with a Cuttlebug script folder. I used a Martha Stewart border punch, some ribbon, a star charm and a Tim Holtz bauble that comes in t lovely tin of Prima Poinsettia's , these are definitely my fave christmas flowers :-)

I love this cute Dawn with Flowers stamp from Nellie Snellen, isn't she cute :-) I coloured her with Copics, inked around the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink and added some Star Dust Stickles here and there. The papers are from a Basic Grey Kioshi paper pad and I used a Martha Stewart Doily Lace border punch. The flowers were made with Nellie Snellen punch and emboss punches, you need the medium and large sets to make these. The blue flowers at the base are Prima Esprit and I added some Hero Arts gems to the center. The ribbon was in my drawer :-)

I love this lovely Olivia with her Kittens image from Stampavie ,, very cute :-) I coloured her with Copics and inked around the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink. The flowery paper is from the Basic Grey Green at heart paper pack and the sky I made usning a Hero Arts cloud stamp to make masks and then sprayed the sky using my Copic Airbrush ,,,fab gadget that is :-) I thought the Tim Holtz flower die looks a little like a sunburst ?? ,, hubby thinks it looks like a flower with a button in the middle ,,, he's not arty at all eh !! :-) The ribbon and charm were in my drawer. The 'Something Old' is the sentiment stamp, that is an ancient Inkadinkado one !!

House Mouse and Friends Monday ,,,, Multifold Challenge :-)

Good Afternoon :-) I hope you all had a lovely weekend and found some time for yourselves to play :-) We had loads of fabulous entries to our 'Fave Stamp challenge even though everyone found it difficult to choose :-) Lisa was mean eh !! lol ,, how can we choose a fave !! impossible !!!

Our lovely DT Heather made a fab tutorial on making a shadow box card ,, which you can see here,, I thought it would be fab for this multifold challenge so thats what I did. I did intend to make a box to go with it but haven't had the time yet ,,,, but it does need one :-)



I used this very cute HM Throwing Daisy Petals , I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Ink, I made the background frame using the Home Accents cartridge on my Cricut. The papers are Kaiser Craft and the flowers are Prima daisies and a Grungeboard die cut, the swirls are also Grungeboard cut using a TH Flourishes die. I added a Martha Stewart butterfly and a few Kaiser Craft pearls to finish :-)

As you know I loves my HM and I just couldn t resist using this new one Bring On the Rain, it is also availabe as an unmounted set but is OOS at the moment. I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Ink. I then used Star Dust stickles and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops for sparkle. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch, this was sprayed with a pink copic using my air brush ,,, I love the delicate shades you can get with it :-) The papers are from Kaiser Craft and the ribbon was in my drawer :-)

I love this technique, it is brilliant for covering up colouring disasters !! I use it ALOT !! sshhh :-)

I made this card using a fab Greeting Farm stamp , this is called Monday ,,, isn't she cute !! I used very few Copics here ,, a few greys and skin tones !! Her skirt, top and hairband are paper pieced. The papers are Kaiser Craft and the sentiment is Inkadinkado. The frame is a Nellie Snellen die, the punched flowers are also from Nellie Snellen. I coloured a grungeboard key hole with a black copic marker and smothered it with Crackle Accents. The charm was in my charm drawer :)

I love Julia's WOYWW :-) It gives us all the chance to have a good ol' snoop around fellow crafters desks ,,,, mine is ALWAYS a mess and I am giving up making apologies ,,, this is me, take me as ya find me :-)
I often see goodies that I then HAVE to have !! take the ATG tape gun ,, I saw that on a crafty desk and I just HAD to have one !! gone are the days where my cards fall to bits cos of the only DSST that was available here ,,, and wasn't sticky AT ALL !! I am now wondering if I should have got the 1/2 inch wide one after seeing it on Julia's desk !!!
what else is going on here ,,,, ooh a stamped image getting ready for colouring ,,, can't tell you what thats for yet ,,,, my huge cuppa T, some Hero Arts ticket stamps ,, some unmounted HM stamps ,,, Copics ,,, ooh my fab spinning thing that holds TH ink applicators ,,, I live in a mess eh !!!

Now for my card ,,,,,,

I must admit I do especially love the Whiff Of Joy Gnomes by Norma Fickel and saw that some new ones are about to be released ,,, so keep an extra close eye on the All New Just In category !! For my card I used the Mr and Mrs Foxglove stamp ,,,, I always think of these as an older and younger sister tho !! I coloured the image with a mix of Copics and Prismacolor pencils and inked around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The papers are from the Basic Grey Capella pack and I used my Cricut to cut the big circle ( I need to plug it in more often !! ) The flowers are Lilliput Roses from Prima ( gorgeous ) ,, I sprayed them with my Copic air brush ,,, LOVE IT !! :-) I used loads of Platinum and Star Dust Stickles for sparkle and a ribbon and a leaf charm to finish ,,,, :-)
