This can be interpreted in a few ways !! :-) I used 3 different types of embellies , flowers, shimmer dots and ribbon, 2 patterned papers ,, one was cut into 2 pieces ,, and 1 colour ribbon :-)



For my card I used my new Anya stamp I coloured her with copics and used tattered rose distress inks for the edges. The papers are My Minds Eye and I used a dark pink card for layering. The flowers are Prima that have been sprayed with pearl gimmer mist and lots of stickles for sparkle :-) I used several glimmer dots and an organza ribbon from my messy drawer :-)

Kraftin Kimmie's Birthday Card :-)

It was Kraftin Kimmie's birthday yesterday and it will be her 3rd Blogoversary on Friday too ,,, so to celebrate she is giving away some of her fantastic stamps !! :-) To enter the candy she is asking us to make a card using her card sketch as inspiration :-)



I used my Lola Davinci stamp ( fab name eh !! :-)) I coloured the image with copics and distressed the edges with black soot distress ink. The papers are Basic Grey and I also used Black and Red card for layering :-) I inked a happy Birthday cuttlebug folder with black ink and ran some red card through it for the background bit,,, :-) The houses stamp is a Magenta stamp that I have had for ages and never know what to do with it ,,, then this idea just popped up :-)
The sentiment was done on my comp and I inked and embossed the edges with red glitter EP ,, I allowed it to smudge ON PURPOSE !! :-) Flowers and ribbon just didn't see to look right on this so my only embellies are a row of black gems :-)

ABC Challenge 'N' for NEW

We had some lovely entries for the Masking Challenge last week :-) I do love that technique ,, so much easier than cutting out images to place them in front eh ! :-)

This week we would like to see what NEW goodies you have in your stash :-)

We are being sponsored by Lauretta's Digital Stamps and she gave all the DT a choice of images to use :-) I chose this gorgeous vase of flowers ,, isn't it beautiful ! :-) My neighbour asked me to make a card for her Mum's 70th Birthday, I thought this image would be perfect ! :-) So my 'New' things are the stamp and the papers :-)

You can also combine this challenge with the new ABC Tutorial Challenge whose theme is Cracked Glass :-)



I coloured the image wth copics and added crackle glaze to the vase :-) I do love this stuff on pottery:-) The papers are a digi download too from Digiscraps 3
The sentiment was printed on my comp and mounted onto a Spellbinders tag :-) I used my lovely Martha Stewart border too :-) All the edges were distressed with Dusty Concorde :-) I can't wait for all the new ones to arrive in the Simon Says Stamp Store ,,, they should be there soon ,,,,, have you pre ordered yet ??? :-)

This week we are introducing our 3 new DT girls to our Simon Says Stamp family,they are DT members for both the Simon Says Stamp Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Store :-) DENA , JANE AND MARTINE :-) :-) If you haven't visited their blogs you're in for a treat ,, all of them are fabulous designers and we are all looking forward to working with them :-)

So ,, onto this weeks challenge :-) We have a lovely 'Photo Inspiration' challenge for you :-) I am looking forward to seeing what you make with this :-)

I made my card using my new Noble Tilda and Elegant Roses Stamps these are available to pre order in the Simon Says Stamp Store and are expected any day now :-)



I masked Tilda to make her sit on the roses ,, hope there're no thorns !! :-) The papers are Basic Grey from the Wassail paper pad :-) I used my lovely Martha Stewart heart border punch and some roses which I sprayed using my fab Copics air gun ,, FUN !! I love it !! :-)



I made the frame using my Nellie Snellen Multi Frame ,, these are expected any day now in the Simon Says Stamp Store :-) I added loads of stickles and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops for sparkle :-)



I also thought I would ink up this little Edwin and pop him on the inside of the easel card :-) Isn't he cute :-) I thought I would make him look as if he was in a cameo brooch , am now thinking that maybe I should have used some diamond glaze over it ?? hmm ??

Vicky ,,, aka , Angeldrummer has started a new ABC Challenge Tutorial blog It is a monthly challenge and the ABC DT will be taking turns to post a 'How To' tutorial which you will then use for the challenge :-) The forst one is Cracked Glass. I have never tried this technique before so I thought I would give it a whirl :-)

For my card I followed the lovely sketch on the Allsorts Challenge :-) They did ask us not to combine this week,,,, oops ,,, only just saw that ! ,, sorry,, but I have to enter the other ones I have planned now :-)



I love this stamp ,, another old fave that has been sadly neglected :-) he is a Magenta stamp which is soo easy to use ,,,, no colouring !! Brilliant for quick and easy cards :-) The heart is a Hero Arts stamp that I coloured with a red copic, embossed , froze and cracked, it looks more cracked IRL :-) I then made the sentiment on my comp :-) The papers are Basic Grey. I made the bone with shrink plastic :-)



I also made this card to enter the Die Cut Dreams Challenge whose theme is Red and Black with love :-),,, love that combo ,,, perfect with this stamp eh ! :-)

Winter Wonderland Candy Cane Challenge and hop :-)

The Winter Wonderland have a fabulous challenge this week ,,, and a Blog Hop !! FUN !! :-) The theme is Candy Candy Cane ,,, though you can just use Red/White combo if you don t have a suitable image :-)



I used Trevor from CC Designs, I bought this one as a digi image from All That Scraps,, isn't he cute ,,, his jumper has candy canes so it firs nicely :-) I coloured the image with copics and 3D him onto the oval. The sleigh is a WOJ stamp from the winter kit, the papers are Doodlebug ,, ribbon and charm from my stash and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I added some stickles and 3 dew drops for sparkle :-)

Papertake Weekly Love Actually Challenge :-)

I coloured the image with copics and inked around the edges with worn lipstick distress ink ,,,, well ,, it had to be that one eh :-) all that kissing !! :-) The papers are Basic Grey and some cuttlebugged coredinations, the flowers are a mixture of prima and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is also from there ,,, lovely :-)

Wags and Whiskers meets Friday Sketchers :-)

last week was my lucky week :-) I won 2 challenges !! The Friday Sketchers Challenge and the Wags and Whiskers Challenge !! Fabulous eh !! :-) It is not very often I win anything and to have 2 so close together is lovely :-) Thank You :-)

So for this card I followed Jeanette's fabulous sketch on The Friday Sketchers Challenge :-) I used a Wags and Whiskers stamp that I won on their first launch and blog hop :-) the theme this week on the Wags and Whiskers Challenge is Blue, White and Brown :-)



I coloured the Angel Whispers stamp with copics and the little dog , Princess ,, with prima pencils ,, I like the more furry texture you can get with them :-) I paper pieced the dress and just coloured to spots in :-) The papers are a download from Digiscraps 3 ,, I love this paper ,, you can resize it to make it fiT your card perfectly :-) I inked around the image with faded jeans distress ink, I used some blue sheer ribbon and make a double bow with my bow easy ,,, marvelous invention that is !! :-) The lovely pearls and the angel charm are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts :-)



On the Wags and Whiskers Challenge challenge they are asking for cards to be made and sent to a little boy with a terminal brain tumour. Unfortunately I didn't have any boy Wags and Whiskers stamps so I will make another one later today. We do need to think about sick children and their families and send cards through Post Pals or Make a Child Smile too :-)

I thought I would have a change from copics ,, and used my fairly neglected Prisma pencils instead :-) The papers are a new download from Digiscrap 3,, lovely eh ! these are called K9 Pals :-) i used some lovely velvet paw print ribbon from Meiflower the flower is Prima and the charm is from my stash. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusives set :-)

Winter Wonderland Challenge ,,, last min entry !! :-)

OOhh the weather here is terrible ,, raining and thunder and lightening ,,,, but Amy is still getting her glad rags on and going out in it ,,, not me !! I will stay here and let my fingers do the walking !! :-) I plan on doing a world tour this evening in blogland :-)

I followed Pascale's FANTASTIC sketch on the Winter Wonderland Challenge :-) Well done Pascale ,, this is lovely and one I will definitely use again ! :-)



I used My Little Helper Edwin,, which I coloured with copics and 3D'd him in front of a WOJ sleigh :-) the papers are MME and BG ,,, bit of both ,,, I won't bore you with details of how long I spent faffing about trying to find THE right papers !! Never found them ,,, so these will have to do lol :-) I embossed the central panel with a star folder ,, it looks better in real life ,,, !! :-)



I used a Fiskars border punch and a spellbinders snowflake die ,, a bit of ribbon ,, loads of stickles and glitter ,,, :-)
