The Pink Elephant, Arty Girlz and Stamp Something Challenges

I made this card following The Pink Elephant Challenge sketch, it also qualifies for the Stamp Something Challenge which is to use 3D, and the Arty Girlz Challenge which is to use butterflies :-) ( Thanks Jeanette) :-)
The butterfly stamp is from Magenta, I stamped it onto black card using white ink and embossed with opaque white EP, then coloured it with artquest interference paints. The vellum was stamped with white ink and I used holographic EP. The black card I used for mounting was glimmer misted with denim blue and meadow green.
As you can see I used black/grey coredinations which was cuttlebugged and sanded. The swirly design was cut out on my cricut. The DP is doodlebug.
Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

You're Invited :-)

The theme this week on the Spoonfull Of Sugar Challenge is shaped cards
I've had these cat shaped cards in my drawer for yonks and thought it was a good idea to use one, well it did seem like a good idea at the time !! ha ha. The card and cat face stamp are from Stampendous and the paper or rather her rather fetching ball gown was made using doodlbug designs, with pink glitter and diamonds :-)
I got the idea for the 'Fur Ball' from one of my best friends, Bert Childers, a Texan Vet who was awarded a lifetime achievement award at the SPCA in Dallas for his services to the poor animals, The award ceremony was during the annual 'Fur Ball' Fab name eh !!
This card also qualifies for Our Creative Corner Challenge too which is to use a tag on your card.
Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

House Mouse Monday and Cupcake Craft Challenges

I didn't know what Mojo was ! I had heard of people losing it but didn t know what they were talking about,,,, till today ! I think mine went walkies with Jessie and she lost it when she was bouncing through the fields :-)
This card took hours and hours to make ! I know it doesn't look it !!
Anyway here is my effort for the Cupcake Craft Challenge which is to use this sketch. I combined it with the House Mouse Monday challenge which is 'Mother' :-) My mum see's my blog so,,, ' Just that you know mum this isn't for you really '!!!
The HM stamp is a new stamp that I bought from Simon Says Stamps, I just wish I'd bought a few more !!I also used a Penny Black mouse paw print stamp and the stripes on the paper were made using a Judikins bollio, these were stamped with a purplish colorbox pigment ink and embossed with plum sparkle EP. I used pink stardream card to cut 2 frames on my cricut and to layer the paper too, the papers are from HOTP. the text was printed on the computer and the flowers were made with a daisy punch and my cricut machine.
Thanks for looking , I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

Sketch Saturday and Colour Create Challenges

I followed the sketch on the Sketch Saturday challenge and the colour scheme on the Colour Create challenge, which is pink and grey, it is also optional to use cute and cuddly too, well I think this mudpie house mouse is quite cute :-) It took me ages to decide on which paper to use, and cut several pieces and didn't like any of them so in the end I printed some distressed paper from a download from Funky Fairy's and made a patterned paper using a Penny Black mouse feet stamp. I also used some grey core'dinations which I cuttlebugged using the swirl folder and sanded. The cupcakes and all the text is from a Simon Says Clear Stamps cupcakes set.

Secret Crafter and Penny Black Saturday Challenges

I made this card following the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge sketch. On the Penny Black Saturday Challenge the theme is 'Get Well Soon'.
The paper is BG London sunset, the stamp is PB mouse bouquet :-) The text stamp is by hero arts.
My new spellbinder corners arrived today so I just had to use them on this sketch :-)
I sprayed brown cardstock with green and peach glimmer mists, I used this to cut the diagonal strip, the largest nestie square and the corners, I don't know if it shows up in the photo's but they are really shimmery and gorgeous :-) The bronze flower is papermania and I think it finishes the card quite nicely :-)
I sort of decorated the inside too, this is a 1st for me . I usually just stick a plain insert with 'happy birthday 'or whatever stamped on it !!
Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments
Am off to bed, will link this tomorrow, my typing's gorn haywire and this has taken ages to type, am exhausted, it's midnight here !!
goodnight all x x

p.s I was going to enter this in the Basic Grey Challenge but I hadn't read the rules properly and it can't be linked with another challenge so off to do another one :-)

Sketch and Stash Challenge,,,, Cat Wedding !

This is my 2nd and final card as GD for this challenge. This fab sketch is by Becky. As my last card for this challenge was using my new stash I thought I really should use old and neglegted stash for this one. The cat stamp is from an Australian company called 'Stamp-It' and is one of my first ever buy's, I used to colour it with orange and brown embossing pens ughughugh!! I don't have a photo ( fortunately I can hear you all saying ha ha ) otherwise I would have given you all a good laugh :-)The angel hair I bought at the same time, and obviously I haven't used it cos I still have loads of it ! I do like it though. I layered that over silver stardream card and secured it at the back. I decided to make this card into a Wedding card for cat lovers ! Hence the girly cat with pearls and the tom cat with a dickie bow :-)
The flowers were made on my cricut, I really don't know what I would do without that gadget !! The brads are papermania.
I would just like to add that I have loved being a GD on this challenge, Becky is a lovely girl and has given me alot of encouragement, go and see the cards the DT have made they are just fabulous :-)
Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments so PLEASE leave me one :-)

ABC and Friday Sketcher's Challenges

I made this card following the Friday Sketchers Challenge sketch and combined it with the ABC Challenge which is B for brown/blue ( I was banking on it being baby boy blue ! ha ha ). I used my lovely new cuddly buddly stamp that I won in June's blog Candy, Thank you so much June x
As you can see I made this as a new home card. Anesha is moving house this week so I made it for her. Hope she doesn't see this but she did say she will be without the internet for a couple of weeks so it should be OK :-)
The papers are downloads from the Shabby Princess downloads.
Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

Funky Fairy's and Just Christmas and Birthday Cards Challenges

I made the card following the sketch on the Just Christmas and Birthday Card Challenge, I intend to follow this sketch and make a Christmas card tomorrow too :-) The DP are downloads from Funky Fairy's except for the gingham one which is papernania. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
The Funky Fairy's challenge this week is to make a milk carton :-)
The carton was made using a template from create4fun. I used a free Funky Fairy's download from the love train for the carton itself and the top tag and used the dots are distressing download to layer the image onto and for the underneath tag. The words on the tag says 'special delivery' which I thought quite fitting for a milk carton :-) I also used some gingham ribbon as you can see :-)
Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

Truly Scrumtious and Charisma Cardz Challenges

The theme this week on the Charisma Cardz Challenge is 'Hugs and Cuddles'. I followed the 1st Truly Scumptious Challenge sketch for this card. The image is Penny Black Squeeze till I Squeak, but I taped off the large daisy flower and only stamped the mouses :-)
The papers and brads are from papermania. The heart shape was in the blog candy I won, thanks June :-) I stamped this with 'Hugs' which shows up quite well in real life but is all sparkly on the photo ! .The flower was punched out and the small one was cut out from the paper, all fixed together with a sugar coated brad.

Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

Spoonfull of Sugar,Cute Card Thursday and Daring Cardmakers Challenges :-)

The theme this week at Cute Card Thursday is Signs of Spring, well this stamp is quite spring like isn't it ! the theme on Daring cardmakers is 'feeling green', lotta green on this card !! I followed the sketch on the Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge .
The main image is 'fur ball fun' by Penny Black, the scroll tree and sentiment are both by Hero Arts.I gave the sheep a blue rinse ha ha and I used yellow fun flock on the chicks so in 'real' life they're quite fluffy, the little flowers are made using flower soft :-)

Kaboodle Challenge meets The Vicar Of Dibley :-)

Am sure many of you will have seen the Vicar of Dibley episode where Geraldine meets Darcey Bussell ( mot sure if the splling is right !), As soon as I saw the sketch for this challenge I knew I had to make it into a mirror and use this stamp. Unfortunately I don't have the 'other' ballerina from Whipper Snapper, she is a little bit chubby and she would have been perfect for the mirror image !! If you look closely you can see her image which was stamped with hero arts grey shadow ink , then the image was coloured a little bit.
I really had fun making this card, the paper in the mirror is a download from Kaboodle, I needed it to be grey so I just printed in it greyscale ! easy enough !! took me ages to think of it though !! duh. The 'wallpaper' is by papermania. I cut the mirror frame out of silver glitter card twice to 3d it, on my cricut. The 'lights' around the frame are made by punching circles out of holographic paper. I think I've said enough !!
Thanks for looking, I really appreciate your comments so please leave me one before you hop off :-)

Whiff of Joy and Pink Elephant Challenges

The theme this week on the Whiff of Joy Challenge is to use this fabulous sketch by Katharina :-) The stamps I've used are in the new Whiff of Joy spring collection, lovely aren't they :-) Even the little butterfly is in the collection, I added vellum wings and glitter to make them 'pop' up a little bit.
The DP are Diane's Daughter's rustic gem and CK vintage vine glitter paper. The base card is brown, I also used cream card which I chalked with brown to give it a distressed look, the narrow strip behind the main image was also embossed using a cuttlebug folder. The lace ribbon was from my local haberdashery. The flower is by hero arts and the sentiment is a gift from Jenny
