3 challenge card

I made this card following the Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge sketch, the Funky Fairy's challenge this week is dots and ribbons,the dotty paper is a download from their website. The Cupcake Challenge is to use Plum, pale plum, pink and whisper white, well, I don't have any stamping up things but according to Marvy le Plume I've followed the requirements :-)
The main image and text are both by penny black. The flower was stamped with dots using plum ink. ooh I forgot to mention her frock, that was stamped onto the dotty card and then diamond glazed and sprinkled with black glitter :-)

Goth Birthday Book

I downloaded the papers from Kaboodle Doodle It's the boys mini card kit, and I just had to make this birthday book for Amy, she's a bit of a goth !! The stamps are from Stampotique and the embellies 're Tim holtz grungeboard shapes. I won't bore you by showing you all the pages, ,,,, well Ok then I haven't finished them yet :-) but I will,,,,

3 challenge's in 1 card :-)

I made this card for the Madelynne's Twinkling Tuesday Challenge which is to make a card using Madelynn's fab sketch,I hope she doesn't mind but I put the sentiment in the kitty's paws instead of where it should be !!
I used some fabulous download papers from Kaboodle Doodles so this card fitis in with their 'love' theme too.
I made a big mistake making this card !! It was all finished but just as I was about to take a piccy I noticed a tiny bit of glitter glue just underneath the top left side hearts, soooo, I got a drop of water on a brush to gently clean it off, not thinking it would leave a bloomin great watermark !! Hence the flowers so it now qualifies for the Papertake Challenge too which is hearts and flowers :-)

I used one of my all time favourite stamps by Penny Black which is called 'cute cat'. The heart he/she's holding is from the downloads too , I went around the edge with a black embossing pen and embossed with clear powder. Then I 'filled' it up with diamond glaze and sprinkled fine glitter onto it. The hearts were cut out of core'dinations card using my cricut, cuttlebugged, sanded and plonked into position.

Secret Crafter Saturday challenge

The theme for this week is 'Zoo' we have to use an image of an animal we would find in a zoo. I used the very 1st stamp my daughter bought, which is a Polar bear stamp by Anita. My sort of New Year's resolution was to start making Christmas cards in Feb so I'm not still making them on xmas eve, this challenge has got me started !!
This is the 1 st time I used this snowflake folder too and I think it's lovely, will definately be using this alot. The sentiment is PB which I stamped onto shrink plastic and coloured with chalk, then shrunk. The snowflakes are punched out.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

This is the 1st time I've attempted a circular card. I only have the small circle nesties so i made a small card :-) The main image is 'picked for you' and the small hedgie is from the 'well wishers' stamp. I chose hedgie images cos they can curl themselves up intio a ball and 'roll' !! Well not really, but my DD did ask me if I had chosen hedgehogs for that reason :-)
The sentiment is from the WOJ sentiment set.

My 1st card as Guest Designer for the Sketch and Stash Challenge :-)

What a nerve wracking experience making a card as a Guest designer for the Sketch and Stash Challenge, not as easy as I thought, when I'd finished it I was happy with it but thought maybe I should start again ,,,,,
Anyway, there it is, I hope you like it.This fab sketch is by Becky :-) The Tilda is a new 'comfy tilda' which i bought from The Glitter Pot and new buttons by Papermania from Binky Crafts The tulip stamp is by Hampton Art and have had it forever,, the birds are hand drawn :-) The DP is from a 6x6 book of background papers by Crafty Individuals aand the purple distressed paper is a download from Funky Fairy's. I used my oval nesties,the scalloped one is made using purple core'dinations which have then been cuttlebugged with the script folder. I also used a strip of black/purple core'dinations underneath the ribbon too. The text is also new and is from the Whiff Of Joy sentiment set

Whiff Of Joy Valentine Challenge

Well, I found this challenge challenging !!! Not having any valentine themed WOJ stamps except the heart I was a bit stumped but then came up with this idea :-) I didn't want it to be too girly, cos Charlie's a bloke after all, but then the pink crept in !!! anyway I think he looks quite dashing with a pink bow tie :-)The heart was stamped onto shrink plastic,coloured and shrunk :-)
The paper is by paper adventures and is called 'vintage rose ramblings' , the ribbon and heart brads are papermania. The hearts were cut out of core'dinations using my cricut and then cuttlebugged and sanded, the sentiment is WOJ too

Funky Fairy's, Charisma and Friday Sketch Challenges

I know I've already entered the Funky Fairy's challenge with my last card upload but when I saw the Charisma challenge which is to use black/white and one other colour I just had to use this free download paper and text from Funky Fairy This stamp was just 'made' for this :-)
I used the Friday Sketch, which is a fab sketch by Carole, again, this sketch was made to go with this stamp, can ya tell I love this stamp :-)
The ribbon is from Meiflower,isn't it gorgeous :-)

Cute Card Thursday Funky Fairy's and Sketch Saturday Challenge's

I know its quite late for the saturday sketch but I really liked this sketch and wanted to use it :-) I am also entering this for the CCT challenge which is Valentine. I forgot to take a photo of the inside but I have decorated it with hearts and a valentine message , might upload it later ,,,,
The image is PB squeeze till I squeak, what a fab name for it ha ha :-) As you can see I used my scallop nestie for the image. The words down the side is made using the PB love love love stamp, pink brilliance on vellum. The hearts are cut out on my cricut and embossed with a cuttlebug swiss dots folder, which I then chalked with pearlescent pink, this doesn't show up very much on the photo but is nice n shimmerry in real life ;-0. The dotty ribbon is by papermania.
The pink distressed paper is a download from Funky Fairy's so it also qualifies for that challenge which is Valentine's too :-)The text is from a santa rosa stamp which also has an envelope with hearts coming out of it so I had to cut around it !

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge

I made this ATC for the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge which is not to use any designer paper. I decided to make is a Valentine theme, well it is that time of year ,,,The Tilda has a cross pendant usually but I made her a heart shaped one using a punch and shrink plastic and coloured it with artquest interference paint before shrinking. Her handbag is a new papermania duo clear stamp made using shrink plastic too. the background paper was made using pink chalk and a hero arts heart stamp and pink brilliance ink. Oh and I almost forgot, i tied a little pink ribbon in her hair, then layered it all onto blue card. :-)

Inspirational Sketches

Hi I made this card to enter the Inspirational Sketches DT call
I only just found this blog and the call ends today so I hope I am still in time to enter ,,,,,,
I used one of my favourite Penny Black stamps, 'Garden Buggy' as the main image. The DP is Basic Grey and the wording is a vellum overlay over blue paper, I think we're all looking forward to summer eh !! :-) The flowers are hero arts which I chalked with blue and added sugared brads to the centres. I used my crop-a-dile to add the 2 eyelets to fix the vellum

I made this for the Friday Sketchers and the Penny Black Saturday challenges. The Friday Sketch was to use this sketch by Beatrix, lovely sketch eh !! The Penny Black challenge was to 'frame it'. This is another stamp I've had for ages and never used !!! The papers are a download from Funky Fairys I saw a card on someone's blog, I can't remember who's, sorry :-( it had a downloaded sentiment from this site, their papers are fabby.
