I made a New Year's Eve party invitation card using a Simon Says Stamp Let's Party Die Set, Black Card Stock and Vellum.

For the background I used Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Cardstock along with Crimson, Aquamarine, Envy Alcohol Inks and Blending Solution. While the ink was still slightly wet I added a sheet of Gold Foil and gently rubbed over the entire sheet to apply random foiled areas. 

I machine stitched the edges with gold thread and added a layer of Matte Gold Card Stock and a few Autumn Mix Gold Sequins to finish.

Avery Elle Carolers

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is 

Ice Cold 

We're showcasing Avery Elle Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I used a super cute Avery Elle Carolers Clear Stamp Set and Coordinating Die Set

Aren't they  adorable! I can almost hear them singing! 

I used a MISTI stamping tool to get the images perfectly aligned with the dies, colored them with Copic Markers and then used a Tim Holtz Shaping Tool to 'round' them and make them look 'real' ;-)

Fort the night sky I splattered some Watercolor Paper with Distress Resist and then blended Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire over the top, leaving a little bit to add some Mustard Seed for the glow from the lamp.  I added a treeline of snow laden trees using a Simon Says Stamp Little Evergreen Trees Die and  Pawsitively Velvet Snow White Luxury Cardstock. I added an extra snowdrift using a Stitched Slopes and Hills Die andf then sprinkled a layer of icy ground using Hero Arts Earth Safe Glitter (love this 'guilt free' glitter!! ;-))
