House Mouse Birthday Cupcake

Hi all :-) I am here with a reminder to please join in with the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge,

I used this adorable Stampendous, House Mouse Birthday Cupcake Cling Stamp and made a card for a very special little girl's 1st Birthday! 

I colored with Copic Markers, paper pieced the cupcake wrapper and added a few dollops of Star Dust Stickles here and there. 

I think the papers are from a Simple Stories 6x8 Paper Pack but not certain ;-)

Simon Says Stamp Folk Art Flowers

Happy Easter!! I hope you're all enjoying a lovely long weekend! 

We have friends coming for dinner this evening so I am posting this and then will have to run around with hoover and start cooking ;-) 

I made this card using a new and absolutely GORGEOUS Simon Says Stamp Folk Art Flowers Cling Stamp. I love that you can remove and add bits of the stamp to be able to stamp in different colors without having to use masks! 

I removed the flowers and dot stamps from the background and inked the leaves with Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress Inks. then I popped in the dots and inked them up with Hickory Smoke Archival Ink. I then popped the flowers back in the removed the leafy background, carefully to leave the flowers in place, and then used Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks for them. 

I really love how this has turned out! 

I added a torn strip of vellum to add a little extra interest, a few gems and pearls and a sentiment to finish.
