Simon Says: Starry Night

Hi all!Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

This week the theme is

Starry Night 
This week we are challenging you to look to the cosmos and add a star or two to your creation!

I decided to add a Christmas card to my box, its filling up quite nicely!! Not sure how many I have made but I am sure to need a lot more ;-) 

I started with some White Yupo Paper, Aquamarine and Denim Alcohol Inks, a Simon Holiday Background Stamp and Alcohol Lift Ink and made a fabulous background, I love this technique! 

I then blended some Iced Spruce and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide onto Watercolour paper and used a Tim Holtz Festive Scribbles Die Set to cut the tree and star, the star I sparkled with Yellow Glitter, sooo pretty IRL ;-) 

I added some Silver Sparkle Tape and a strip of starry tape across the 'snow' panel and wrapped some May Arts Red Burlap Twine and gems to finish 

and I finished the inside

and made an envelope to match using a WeR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and a Tim Holtz Holiday Postmark Stamp Set

House Mouse 'Acorn Cap'

It's time for a new House Mouse and Friends Challenge. This time the fabulous and super talented Christine is the hostess and the theme is 

Anything Goes

ANY Themed creation using these COLORS 

of course you must use a House Mouse, Gruffie or Happy Hopper image to join in ;-)

I used a super cute 'Acorn Cap'  Cling Stamp 

The little acorn cap fits to perfection!! haha 

I coloured with Copic Markers and the papers are from an older Bazzill Paper Pack, I am trying to use up some older, but stil lovely, papers as I have boxes full!!

and I finished the inside

Wild Rose Studio 'Santa With Champagne'

Thinking of all of my friends across the pond who have suffered in the latest hurricane to hit Florida, sending huge hugs and keeping you all in my thoughts XXX 

I am here to share a card I made using a new and super cute Santa With Champagne Clear Stamp from the Wild Rose Studio 

I coloured with Copic Markers and added a little shading with Polychromo Pencils. I used a Tim Holtz Embossing folder to add texture to the red panel.

For the background I used a very pale Archival Sky Blue ink and a Tim Holtz Christmas Stamp. I used 2nd generation stamping so the effect is very subtle and doesn't show up very much on the pics. 

and I finished the inside.

Simon Says Stamp 'Big Picture Book Puppy'

Hi all :-) I am here to share a card using products from the fabulous Simon Says Stamp 'Fun and Festive' release!!

I am in love with these Big Picture Book Dies, so cute!!

Yesterday I shared THIS CARD using the lovely  Big Picture Book Jack Russel Die Set and today I used the adorable Big Picture Book Puppy Die Set  

I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink over the background and used a Falling Snow Stencil, White Embossing Paste and Prisma Glitter to add texture and sparkle. 

I used a Critter Sweaters Stamp Set and green card stock to make him a jumper and gave him a little fesive bow too, doesn't he look dapper!! ;-)
