Simon Says ,,,, Valentine 2014 'Heart Parade' and 'Heart Blooms'

Happy Sunday to everyone, I hope you're all having a fab weekend :-) I have a roast in the oven and the the lovely smells are making my tummy rumble,,, roast beef with yorkshire puds ,, yum !! :-)

I am here to share a couple of cards made using some of the fabulous new Valentine 2014 products from Simon Says Stamp.

First up is this card made using the Heart Parade Die,,,,so pretty :-)

I love glitter ,,,, can ya tell ?? haha :-) I also used a Heart Stencil and the Schoolhouse Red Cardstock and Ink pad

Next Up ,,,, Heart Blooms ,,,,

I used a Gradated Blocks stencil and a Sea Glass Ink Pad to create the side pane. I love the red and aqua together don't you ?? :-)

Simon Says Stamp Exclusive 'Objects of Love'

Good morning all and we're enjoying a lovely bright sunny day here in Gozo, hope the weather is nice where you are :-)

I am sure you must all be aware that Simon Says Stamp have just had a new Valentine 2014 release and I am here today to share another card I made using these gorgeous new products.

I definitely had a 'lightbulb' moment when I made this ,,, haha :-)

I really like how this turned out ! :-) I stamped the shade onto vellum and coloured with a copic marker on the underneath side. Then came the tricky bit,,, how was I going to adhere it without the glue showing ,,,, hmm... another lightbulb moment !! I pooled a dollop of Helmar Quick Dry Adhesive (love this stuff) onto a scrap piece of paper and gently dragged the outer edges of the vellum through it ,,, and it worked !
