Simon Says Stamp 'Seasonal Simon'

Hi all :-) How is your weekend going ? hope all is well :-) I am posting this quickly then have to go and make apple pie ,,,,,:-)

I made this card to join in with the Splitcoast Stampers 'Hope You Can Cling To' event. This challenge was chosen by my old ABC Christmas Challenge teamie, Jennifer Skull, who you may be aware is currently fighting a battle with breast cancer. 

Jennifer wants us to 'Put Our Brave Boots On' and this is what I came up with :-)

I used this super cute 'Seasonal Simon',, isn't he adorable :-)
When there is any moderate to heavy rain in Malta the road outside Amy's flat turns into a river and she has to be brave and put her wellies on to cross it :-) CLICK HERE if you would like to see  video footage of it taken just outside the flat :-) Obviously she wouldn't cross if it was that bad,,, far too dangerous :-)

I made the background using a cloud mask and a copic air brush, I then stamped little rain drops over the top.

Simon Says Stamp Full Card Sunshine ,,,,

Happy Friday :-) I hope you're all well and looking forward to the weekend :-)

I am here with another card for the 'Hop You Can Cling To' event over on the Splitcoast Stampers Site. 

It is a month long cancer awareness event,,, do YOU need a check up ?? If so, then don't put it off for another day, pick up the phone and make an appointment with your Dr :-)

I made this for the 'Bursting With Hope' challenge where we are asked to make a sunburst/starburst card

I used a Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Full Card Sunshine Die

In keeping with the breast cancer theme I make a pink sunshine using 3 sheets of designer paper.

I die cut the front of the card and then adhered  sookwang to some card and cut it to 2mm smaller than the card front and adhered it onto the inside. This made it really easy to stick all the bits in, no glue needed ! 

Now for a confession. I didn't have a big enough piece of the plain pink paper to die cut a circle, and I WANTED it that colour, so after searching through my papers and not finding another piece I cut 2 semi circles from the leftover strip and put the sentiment over the join :-) I quite like how it turned out ! :-)

Shari's Tree No 2 :-)

Hi all :-) I bought all 3 of Shari's Trees a while ago and this is the first inking of tree No 2 ,,, hopefully 1 and 3 will be inked up soon :-)

I made this to join in with the Blingtastic Challenge on the Splitcoast Stampers 'Hope You Can Cling To ' event 

I think this tree just lends itself to bling !

I used embossing paste and a new Simon Says Stamp Stencil to make a snowfall background.

Simon Says Stamp November 2013 Card Kit card :-)

Hi all :-) I am totally lovin' this new Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit :-) the stamp set and products in there are AWESOME :-)

The first card I made using the kit was all pink and girly  CLICK HERE if you would like to see it, so this one I went for a more masculine feel. 

I picked up on the colours that were in the very slight design around the edges and stamped the circles with mid tone inks. I used one of the Kelly Purkey stickers from the kit to stamp the sentiment onto.

I popped a hidden sentiment behind the flap too :-)

I really LOVE receiving these kits  !! It's like a fab birthday EVERY MONTH !! They do sell out really quickly so to be sure of getting one you really need to think about subscribing :-) 

Maybe treat yourself for Christmas or drop hints to your other half ,, you are SO worth it !! :-)
