We have Pins and Needles on the PTW :-)

Hi all :-) I hope all is well with you and that you’re enjoying the long lazy days of summer :-)

it is time for a new theme over on the Papertake Weekly ,,,

I decided to make a little emergency sewing box for Amy to take with her when she goes back to Uni :-)

I have had this SU tin for ages, it was full of hardware, but I emptied it out, sanded it down and decorated it :-)

I will link the products I used at the bottom of this post but just to say the scissors were cut out on the Silhouette Cameo machine and the little needle book does actually have real needles inside it ,,, :-)

I will make a trip to the haberdashery and add more bits :-)

Tear It on the LIM Challenge

Good Morning all :-) I hope you’re all fit and well and enjoying a good start to your weekend :-)

I was up bright and early so I thought I would sit down and make a CAS card for the Less Is More Challenge and become a ‘proper’ Limette by trying to enter every week ,,,,, :-)

This week Mandi and Chrissie are asking us to use tearing on our cards, I tore a few bits of Washi tape :-) ,, LOVE this stuff !

The script tape is from Tim Holtz and the other 2 were in the Monthly Card Kits from Simon Says Stamp. I had a fab parcel yesterday and in it was this fab n funky Retro Squares die from MFT so I had to use it ! The spotty paper was also in the parcel, it's from a Classic pack from Fabscraps,, I have been wanting this since I saw it at the CHA and it is so popular it was always out of stock !

I finished with a sentiment from Hero Arts and a few little red gems :-) I am quite happy with how this turned out ,, do you like it ? I appreciate your comments ,, the good and the bad so please be honest :-)

Hi all :-) I hope all is well with you and as it’s Friday I am sure you’re all looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend :-)

A friend asked me to make a New Home card for her daughter and this is what I came up with :-)

I have had this cute Whimsical House set from Hero Arts for as while and this is the first inking :-)

I will list the products used at the bottom of this post , just to say I paper pieced the tree and fussy cut the little cat and dog and used Scrap dots to adhere ( fabby product). The New Home sign was printed and cut on the Silhouette :-)
