I HAD to use a House Mouse stamp this week eh !! I couldn’t resist even though I did try, this cute Olive A party stamp was just screaming at me from my special House Mouse stamp shelf to be inked :-)

I will link all the products I used at the end of this post, makes life easier than writing them all on here and you can see and find them more easily too :-)

Spots and Stripes on the PTW :-)

Hi all :-) crikey another Tuesday is here already and it’s time for a new theme on the Papertake Weekly Challenge :-)

this time the theme is ,,,,

SPOTS AND STRIPES ,,,,, a nice easy one eh ! :-)

We are sponsored this week by the lovely Katarina, owner of Whiff of Joy so a fabulous prize on offer ! :-)

I used this very cute Flying Frog image from Nellie Snellen, coloured with copics and the edges inked with Victorian Velvet DI. The papers are MME from a Happy Heart pack and I made the star using a Sizzix Bigz Star die and I added a button made using a Button Quartet die. The ribbon was from Doncaster market and I added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops, a charm and some star gems, the sentiment was done on my Silhouette Cameo.

Hi all :-) I am slowly catching up with things since I got back, I was delayed somewhat by the fact that I was almost glued to the telly watching the Olympics !! Well done to all the Olympians !! It is an achievement in itself just to be eligible to compete !! Can you imagine what it must be like to be able to say ,,, I competed in the Olympic Games !! :-)

I used this super cute House Mouse, Eye Pencil and Lipstick ready stamp :-)I made this card for a very special friend ,,, I hope she likes it ! :-)

I twisted and injured my back yesterday and am finding it difficult to sit so I will leave out the writing bit and just add links to the products I used instead and a special thanks to America for the perfect charm !! :-)

Less Is More ,,,,,, :-)

I haven’t joined in with the Less Is More Challenge for a while now, I have been busy in the UK and cheering on team GB in the Olympics :-) Not that I went to see them live, I was cheering from the comfort of my parents TV room :-)

Anyways ,, Mandi and Chrissie are asking for one layer with feathers and/or fur :-)

I spotted this cute Santa’s Little Helper stamp on my shelf and thought he would do :-) I have actually made 4 of these ! so quick and easy to do :-)

I used versafine ink to stamp the Hero Arts sentiment and embossed with clear EP. I used a Fiskars stamping press so that it would be straight, I have wonky eyes and never manage free hand :-)I stamped the imge with Black Archival ink and coloured with Distress Markers, my first attempt at using them for colouring and I do need some practise but I think it’s passable :-) I didn’t want to use copics as the ink would have shown on the inside.I finished with some Polar White Flower Soft on his pom pom and hat trim and some Star Dust stickles on the icy floor :-)
