House Mouse ,,, Let’s Get Fruity Challenge :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer holidays :-)

This time it is the lovely Paula’s turn to choose the theme ,,,

I used this very cute House Mouse Full of Hot Air image .

I stamped the image twice and coloured with Copics, I then cut out and rounded the strawberry using a McGill Tool Kit and used Helmar Scrapdots to adhere, fabulous for layering images !

The papers are from a Wild Rose Studio Strawberry Picnic pack and the banner is also from the pack. I used a lovely new Meadow Rue Simon Says Stamp Die. The red/black organza ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and the charm was in my drawer. I finished with a little Hemptique twine and star dust stickles

I finished the inside with a House Mouse Sentiment and a Hero Arts Strawberry

This week we have another great challenge for you !!
With the 4th of July celebrations around the corner and the Olympics just about to start too we thought we would combine the 2 this week and give you a choice :-)

SPORTY and/or PATRIOTIC :-)

We are showcasing Cuttlebug Products on our cards this week and if you have them we would love to see them used but you don't have to use them to join in :-)

I decided to go the ‘Sporty’ route and chose Weightlifting :-) I used this super cute Muscle Mouse image ,,, LOVE ‘im :-) You may need your shades on to scroll down ,,, this is BRIGHT!! :-)

I coloured with Copics and sparkled with Star Dust Stickles. The green spotty paper is from an Amy Tangerine Sketchbook pack and I made a panel using a Cuttlebug Spots and Dots folder. I coloured the raised design with my new Pan Pastels ,, LOVE them !! I chose the ‘Pastel’s’set for my first try, yummy colours and I sprayed with Fixative to seal. All the yellow mounting cards were plain white Neenah, coloured with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink from the Spring Seanonals set, such a lovely colour ! :-)

I used a couple of the new Simon Says Stamp Exclusives Dies, I used ‘Strong’ from the Brilliant and Strong dies and a Star Border. I loved the tiny star confetti and coloured a few to pop back into the holes and added a few on the image too :-) I also used a MFT Stacking stars die and some Hemptique twine to finish :-)

I finished the inside and used a new Simon Says Stamp sentiment from a You Can Do Anything set, this was also in the May Card Kit.

‘M’ for Make a Gift :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer :-) Can you believe we are already up to ‘M’ in the alphabet !! , the weeks are rolling by ,,,, :-)

This time our lovely teamie Kelly is hosting the challenge :-)

‘M’ for Make a Gift !

This can be something you have made to give as a present or something you have made to give the present in e.g. bag, box or a gift tag.

I decided to make a tea dispenser, I made one of these before and it was so quick and easy to do and as one of my best friends LOVES tea I made this for her :-) I will buy her a nice mug and some dunking biscuits to go with it !! :-)

The whole thing was cut out on the Silhouette Cameo, I used blue coredinations and the snowflake paper is from Craft Creations. I punched a few Martha Stewart snowflakes and used Crystal Glitter for twinkle. I added a Tim Holtz Hitch Fastener on the top and I tied a tag and using some ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

Good Morning all :-) I hope you all had a lovely weekend and managed a little crafty time :-)

This week on the Papertake Weekly Challenge we have one of Dawny’s fab sketches to follow :-)

I used this very cute Happy Hopper stamp, this one is called Tall Tales

I coloured with Copics and mounted on Grand Oval and Grand Scalloped nesties. The papers are from a Pink Gelato pack and I used a white gel pen around the edges. I found some mesh that I have had forever and used a Martha Stewart border punch, some Saddle Stitch ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops. I used a Heart Swirl die and a few Prima roses, and finished with ‘Happy’ cut using one of the fab new Simon says Stamp Exclusives ‘Oh Happy Day ’ die :-)

I finished the inside and used a Hero Arts sentiment :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you’re all enjoying a lovely weekend,, we are having a heatwave ,,,,, lovely !!! :-)

I made this card using a new Tilly with Presents image from the Wild Rose Studio

I coloured with Copics and inked the edges with Victorian Velvet DI. The papers are from a Strawberry Picnic pack and I used some white coredinations and a Swiss Dots folder for the half circle in the background. I used a Grand Calibur Circle die to cut the circle and I also used a Simon Says Stamp Exclusives Circle Border die.

I cut the banner from one of the papers in the pack, mounting it onto card for extra strength before cutting it out. The vintage bias tape is from The Ribbon Girl and I used a Prima heart gem, lots of star dust stickles and a little Hemptique twine to finish.

A new theme has just started over on the Crafty Ribbon Challenge, chosen by the lovely Carol ,,,

Clean and Simple !

I really love these text ‘With Love’ ribbons available from Crafty Ribbons and used one as a basis for the card.

I saw this flower card by Shari Carroll and CASE’d it. I l really liked the simple LO :-)

I used a Unity ‘Sending My Love’ set and coloured with copics. The pink card was plain white, coloured with a pink copic marker and I used some chevron design paper from an Amy Tangerine Sketchbook pack. I added a tiny punched butterfly using a Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch.

I decorated the inside using a spellbinders die and stamps from the set.
