I love the new Penny Black London series and I wanted to use my new ‘On Guard stamp :-)


I stamped the image twice onto Neenah card so I could pop the guard and chicken in front. I coloured with copics and inked the edges with Vintage Photo DI, I used a Gold Spica pen on all the gold bits of the Guard’s box and glossy accents on the chickens beaks. The fab crown was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo ( FAB machine) and I decorated it with various gems, I even gave her a ruby ring ! :-)

I used red card for layering and made the background using a mask and Antique Linen and Vintage Photo DI,I tried to make it look like Buckingham Palace wall !! ,, did it work ?? :-) I embossed another strip of card, which was coloured with the inks, with a new Spellbinders So Trendy folder. The ribbon is from Hero Arts and I used some Hemptique twine to hang a fab Blue Moon London charm. I finished with a few Metallic Dew Drops and some zig zag card cut using an EK Success Zig Zag Punch :-)

We have a new theme over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge ,,,

ANYTHING GOES

with the added option of ‘for a man’

I used this fabulous new ‘DIY Legend’ stamp from the Wild Rose Studio. Don’t you wish your handyman looked like this ,,, !! :-) I made this for my hubby for Father’s day ,, it is a bit of a joke as a handyman he definitely isn’t, his DIY disasters are legendary ,, lol :-)

I stamped the image with black Archival ink, cut him out and popped him onto plain white card with pop dots. I stamped the image with red pigment ink and embossed with red sparkle EP. I had masked the dots and just added some black gems in their place. The papers are from a ‘Man About Town’ pack and I used some plain red SU card for layering. I used a Martha Stewart Arch Lattice border punch, some black American Tag twine, a button and a wrench charm from my drawer and some metallic dew drops to finish :-)

Here comes the Sun and I say ,,,, It’s time for a new theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Challenge ,,,, YAY !! :-)

The lovely Sue K chose the theme 'Here Come’s the Sun’ :-)

Lets hope the sun is on it’s way to the UK ,, what a shame the weather was so horrible for the Thames Pageant yesterday :-(

I used this very cute Happy Hopper stamp called Bunny Cruise :-)

I coloured with copics and them masked the image to create the clouds using my copic air brush. I used blue core-dinations and a strip of SU paper, some dew drops, a die cut sun and some fab ribbon from Crafty Ribbons :-)

Still being good and finishing the insides ,,,, even if it is a bit plain :-)

I have had a great time taking part in this Best Of British event and with the start of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations we will now sit back and enjoy watching it all on the telly :-)

I used this very cute Steampunk Owl, coloured with Copics, cut out and popped up on pop dots. I used Star Dust Glitter here and there and Platinum stickles on his hat. The papers are from a Nitwits London selection and I used some red bias tape and heart shaped Union Jack button from the Best of British Collection. I used a Tim Holtz Weathered Clock die and used some Britannia Card Candi to finish.
