Simon Says ,,,,,,Lets Play BINGO

Hi all ,, I hope blogger posts this for me ,, I am having a fab time in London at the mo’ :-)

This week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge we have a fab game for you !! we all love to play BINGO don’t we !! especially when there is a fabby prize on offer !!

We are asking you to choose a line and make sure there are all 3 elements from that line on your creation, you can add extra things too, just make sure you tick all the boxes of 3 in a row :-) It can be straight across , straight down, or diagonal ,, you choose ! :-)

The DT all used stamps from The Greeting Farm on their creations, you don’ have to of course, but if you have them we would love you to get them inked up !!

As always Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant $50 voucher to her fabulous Simon Says Stamp store :-)

I used 2 down , eyelets, lace ( lacy punch) ribbon

For my card I used this very cute Cheeky Rockabilly stamp. This image always reminds me of the song, Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, so that was what I went with :-)

To be honest I made the card, remembering that we were using TGF stamps and completely forgot the theme !! so then there was a slight panic as I wondered what I could do ,,, hence the eyelet centers on the flowers ! ,, saved ,, phew !!

I coloured the image with Copics, layered her and popped her up with pop dots. The papers are Echo Park Springtime and I faux stitched all the edges. I punched a lace border with an EK Success daisy scallop punch and slightly bowed the top strip. The flowers are a mix of Nellie Snellen Punch and emboss and and McGill Buttercup Punch. I used black eyelets for the flower centers and some gingham ribbon from my stash ,, I would have preferred to make a nice bow but I only had a little bit left so I had to make do with a knot ! :-)

For my card I used this cute LOTV image, this one is called Deckchair Dreaming, I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges slightly with stormy sky distress ink . I did add picket fence crackle paint to the wood on the deck chair but it doesn’t show very much.

I placed the coloured image behind a stamped Lawn Fawn frame from the ‘Say Cheese’ set to make it look like a photo. The postcard is a Unity stamp, inked with brown memento and inked with Vintage Photo distress ink and the papers are from Basic Grey Max and Whiskers paper pad. The sun, sea, sand stamps are from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusives set and I added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops, buttons from my drawer and the bias tape was from The Ribbon Girl.

Hi again ,,, this is my 2nd post today and after this the next few will be scheduled so I hope Mr Blogger does his job and publishes for me :-)

For my card I used this very cute WOJ Happy Birthday Gnome. I used a Spellbinders large labels die cut to stamp him on,coloured him with Copics and inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. The papers are Basic Grey Sweet Threads and a Happy Birthday Cuttlebug embossed panel. I used a Martha Stewart Arched Lattice punch I distressed all the edges with distress inks and a paper distresser. I then plugged in my machine and sewed all the edges. The gorgeous ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I used a Tim Holtz Addage Ticket and some Robins Nest Dew Drops to finish. I did try to add more embellies but nothing looked right so I left it simple

Hi all :-) oohh another Friday has whizzed round !! I can hardly believe we are already almost half way through June !! I hope you’re all looking forward to a nice weekend of fab weather and BBQ’s !! I will be going to London on Sunday so I am hoping for glorious weather in the UK !! :-)

The postie arrived yesterday with a parcel from the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp and inside it was this oh sooo cute House Mouse ‘Full Of Hot Air’ stamp and I just HAD to ink it up !! This is the current HM stamp of the month for June :-)

I followed Jill’s fabulous sketch on the Sketch and Stash Challenge,, thanks, I will definitely use this one again

I coloured the image with Copics, inked the edges with red chalk ink, added a few drops of Star Dust Stickles here and there and used Glossy Accents to the candle. The papers are from Pink Petticoat and I kept it simple and just added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops. I did add a gingham bow to the top L corner but I preferred it plain so I removed it,,, luckily I didn’t tear the paper cos I had stuck it on with a glue dot !! the sentiment is a clear stamp from Papermania.

Simon Says ,,,, Lets get Fruity + Photo Inspiration Challenge

Hi all :-) thanks for all your fabulous entries to our ‘Man’s challenge ,, we know that making things for the men in our lives fills us with dread ,, lol ,,, but many of you rose to the challenge :-)

This week we are asking you all to GET FRUITY !! ,, Wimbledon is just around the corner and all the strawberries are ripening ,,, yum !! :-)

This is the photo that we used for our inspiration ,, oohh I feel a fruit salad coming on ,,,,, :-)

As always the lovely Heidi is giving one lucky entrant a super dooper $50 trolley dash around her store ,,, I wish I could enter !!

I went a bit mad this week and made 2 items !! I saw this gorgeous basket on Michelle Roo’s blog and just had to CASE it The instructions I found here.

I used a 12x12 Whitewash Core-dinations piece of card for the base and punched the edges with a Martha Stuart Pansy border punch. For the handle I embossed with a Swiss Dots folder and lightly sanded the raised bits. The papers are Cherry Cobbler SU card and My Minds Eye (MME) Life of the Party Papers . I used my Copics Air Brush to spray the Prima Alabaster flower with RV34 ink . I then sprayed it with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer mist. I finished with a gingham bow and a punnet of yummy fresh strawberries :-)

Next up is a card I made using my very cute House Mouse Berried stamp. I coloured with Copics and added Star Dust Stickles here and there and I lightly inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Ink. The papers are from the same MME paper pad. I added a MS Scalloped heart punch and Monarch butterfly, some more gingham ribbon a strawberry charm and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops.

For my card I used this very cute Penny Black stamp ,, this one is called Wise Wishes. I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink. I added Star Dust stickles for sparkle and Polar White flower soft on his hat. The papers are Papermania, I distressed them all using a Tim Holtz Paper Distresser and added Silver Stickles on the edges. I used some ribbon from my stash , a star charm and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops, the sentiment is also from Papermania and was stamped directly onto the ribbon using Stazon.

I have just bought this fab House Mouse Java Jumpers stamp ,,, and just HAD to use it ! I knew I had seen coffee bean jewellery in my local store but unfortunately it was gold ( too expensive) and had already been sold ,,, so I had to put my thinking cap on !!

In the bag of goodies that America has sent there was a fab silver circle, I stuck a coffee bean onto that using E6000 glue ( THE best glue EVER ,, that bean isn’t going to fall off !!! ) I then found the leather jewellery whatchamacallems in my jewellery box ,,,, brill ,,, necklace made !! This is fastened onto the card with a simple bow so can be removed easily. Then I made a pair of earrings using a little pair of old studs ,, I just stuck coffee beans on those ,, using the same glue and made a little box to pop them in, did you notice the little silver circles on the top of the box/ ,, these match the circle on the necklace and were in America’s goody bag All of the beans were coated with glossy Accents , I covered some extra ones too and used these as extra embellies . I used SU Chocolate Chip and Ivory card and Basic Grey papers from the Kraft paper pad and the sentiment was printed on my comp.

I used a Penny Black mouse footprint stamp ( now retired I think) and some organza spotty ribbon from my stash ,,

Hi all :-) the weekend is almost here ,, have you got any plans to do anything exciting ,,,, ??? nope ,,,, me neither ! :-) Maybe clean my windows ,,,, now there’s exciting eh !! :-)

I was allocated Bugaboo Digi Stamps this time ( big smiles ) and for my card I used this fab JJ Tequila Instant Fun image. I coloured her with copics and inked the edges with Colorbox pink chalk ink. The papers are Jillibean Blossom Soup and I used some ribbon and gems from my stash. The sentiment came with the image and I used a Whimsy ticket stamp too.

Hi all :-) I hope all is well with everyone and you’re all looking forward to some crafty time :-) This is a long post ,,, get coffee :-)

FATHERS DAY/FOR A MALE

Our lovely GD Christine and the DT have all used Tim Holtz goodies on their creations this week and I think we all enjoyed getting inky and having a play :-)

My Dad loves to feed the birds in his garden ,, it is like watching the pied piper when he goes out with food ,,, birds appear from nowhere and hop around his ankles ,,, they seem to know when its feeding time !! so cute to watch so that was my inspiration for my card :-)

The backround paper is from a Tim Holtz Seasonal Paper Pack , distresssed and inked with Vintage photo. The next layer is grungeboard which has been embossed using a Burlap folder, I then swiped Vintage photo distress ink over it to highlight the raised bits and embossed with Vintage Photo Embossing Powder. I then sprayed it with a homemade mist using a little water, antique linen distress ink refill and perfect pearls powder.

The tag was made using a selection of distress inks and Tim Holtz stamps, a weathered clock, stamped with vintage photo and heat embossed as before and I used a game spinner. The little bird is from an Urban Chic cling set . I used an Elegant Flourish die cut and some flowers cut from Lavish Ribbon and the tag ribbon is from the same pack. Everything was coloured with distress inks ,, I used a Grungeboard Elements bird die, this was coloured with a paint dabber then smothered in crackle glaze and when dry sponged with black soot ink amd the beady eyes were made with Enamel Accents.
