Hi all :-) the time has come to pop my blinkie into mothballs :-) The Simon Says Stamp DT candies will be discontinued from the end of the year so this will be the last one I post. Hi all ,, time for a new theme on the Stamp Something Challenge :-)

I decided to use my WOJ Wee with Broken Leg stamp. I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The papers are Basic Grey, not sure which paper pad, and I used an EK Success Swirl border punch.. The tag was cut on my Cricut and the flowers are Prima. The sentiment came with the stamp, I added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops and loads of Platinum stickles for sparkle :-)

Totally Papercrafts ,,,, Time to PARTY !!!!

Good Morning all :-) It's hard to believe that this time next week we will all be getting ready for the Jolly fella's arrival !!! :-) I am sure you are all busy with preparations and no doubt some of you will be going to lots of parties !! :-)

We are going to be taking a couple of weeks off now from the Totally Papercrafts Challenge so you have until the 6th January to join in with this one :-)

I used my new Popcorn Bear stamp from the Celebration set coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils and added Star Dust Sticklkes here and there. The papers are from Stamping Up ( available here ) I used a Martha Stewart border punch and a few gems from my stash , the sentiment is in the stamp set.

Good Morning all :-) Time for a new theme on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge , This week we would like to see the lovely cool shades of ,,

SILVER / BLUE and WHITE
you can add other colours too if you like but these should be the most obvious :-)

you don't necessarily have to make a Christmas item, it can be for any occasion :-)

The DT have all used Penny Black stamps this week and if you have them we would love to see them too but it isn't necessary to enter the challenge :-)

For my card I used this very cute Penny Black Arctic Bus stamp :-)

I inked the image with Memento ink and coloured with Copics. I then inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink. The snowflake paper is from Magnolia and I tore a piece of white card and embossed with a Tim Holtz Swirl folder for the snow :-) I used loads of Star Dust Stickles and I used Diamond Dust for the icy slope :-) The snowflake was made using a Martha Stewart Himalayan punch and the sentiment is from a LOTV Christmas set which is currently OOS but will be back in store soon :-)

This was a perfect theme for me because it is my BIL's 60th birthday on Christmas Day .

I used my lovely but very neglected Penny Black Xmas Pilgrims stamp, coloured with copics and the edges inked with Broken China Distress Ink . the paper is Magnolia and I inked the edges with white pigment ink and embossed with white powder. I used plenty of star dust stickles and Diamond Dust for the snowy floor :-) the sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub on and the snowflake is a Martha Stewart Punch

no cards from me today :-) Amy and I have spent the day making 14 dozen of these pies ,,, yum !!! I made the mince too using good ol' Delia's recipe :-),,,, Gorgeous ,, all we need now is a glasss of sherry ,,,,,,,, :-)

Stamp Something ,,, Digi Challenge

Hi again :-) I am back with a new card for the Stamp Something Challenge ,,, this week is is

DIGI Something ,,,,, so you have to use digi images and or papers this week :-)

For my card I was given a choice from the HUGE range at Whimsey Stamps :-) Thanks Denise xx :-) As I don't have any religious themed stamps I thought this 'New Witness' digi from Big Hug Creations was perfect :-)

I coloured the image with Copics and used Prismacolor pencils too. The papers are Basic Grey from the Jovial pack and I used a Martha Stewart Icicle border punch and added a ribbon and brown pearls . I chopped up some raffia for the floor and added Star Dust stickles to the star :-) I am cutting down on the use of embellies ,, having spent hours removing flowers and substituting them on my cards so they would fit in an envelope ,,, am going to be minimalist from now on lol :-)

Good Morning :-) Thanks to everyone who joined in with our Christmas Punch challenge last week :-) This week it is Sarah's turn to choose the theme and she chose ...

PAPER PIECING :-)

I used my lovely new Penny Black stamp ,, cute eh !! This one is called Wise Wishes . I coloured with Copics and paper pieced the little gift,, I know it is only a tiny bit, but it is there :-) I used Basic Grey Joyial papers and I paper pieced the gift from the sample bits on the front cover. I inked all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and used a Martha Stewart border punch and Snowflake punch I added Art Institute ultrafine crystal glitter to his hat trim and along the branches to make it look icy, if you have never used Art Institute glitter you should try it, I think it is much better and more sparkly than any other I have tried. I also added Star Dust Stickles around the edges.

Simon Says ,,, Christmas but no Red or Green !! :-)

Good Morning all :-) Hope you are all fit and well and for those of you in the UK ,, stay home and keep warm !!! Brrrrrr

We have some sad news to announce too ,,, unfortunately our lovely teamie Marcea has had to step down from the team, we are all sorry about this and would like to wish Marcea all the best xx I know we will keep in touch and I am looking forward to a get together when I am on my next visit home :-) xx You owe me a Starbucks coffee Marcea !! :-)

Thank you to all of you who joined in with Domi's sketch last week ,, I really love that sketch and have made several cards using it ,, got myself a mini production line going :-) I enjoyed coming to see them ALL too :-)

This week our challenge is all about CHRISTMAS but, there is a catch, we DON'T want to see any RED or GREEN !!

We have a FANTASTIC change to our challenge, every week for the month of December !! As a special Christmas Gift Heidi will be giving not her usual $25 spree ,, noooo Heidi is giving away a $50 spree at Simon Says Stamp Superstore! (includes postage)!! Woo Hoo

For my card I used this lovely Hero Arts Reindeer stamp such a cute stamp and so easy to use ,,, I used this on a ''production line too :



I used a Magnolia snowflake circle stamp, inked with pigment ink and heat embossed with Copper Sparkle EP, I then coloured the image with Copics and I then used a glue pen to go over the antlers and sprinked with Art Institute glitter,,, so sparkly, definitely my fave brand !! The papers are from an Echo Park Merry Christmas set . I used a Martha Stewart punch around the page snowflake set and embossed some SU ivory card with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I inked around all the edges with pigment ink and embossed with the Copper EP too. I added some pearls ( white ones coloured with a copic marker) to all the centers of the snowflakes and added some brown and cream ribbon across the center, made adouble loop bow and finished with a punched and glittered snowflake :-)

CHRISTMAS BUT RED AND GREEN MUST NOT BE SEEN :-)

This is the first inking this stamp has had this year ,, and this is one of my most fave cards I made this year I think !! this cutie is called Warmth for Winter. I coloured the image with my trusty Copics and inked the edges with Shabby Shutters Distresss ink . The papers are My Minds Eye and I acutally got my sewing machine out to sew areound the edges !! The large snowflake is a Martha Stewart Himalayan Punch and the circle sentiment was made by Tammy ( TPC teamie). The 'Baby it's Cold Outside is a Melissa Frances rub on ,, I think it just fit in there perfectly !! The small snowflakes are made using a Woodware punch and I added a couple of tiny buttons in the center. I used a few Robins Nest Dew Drops to finish

Sketch and Stash and House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenges

I have been a bit naughty this week ,, I have combined the Sketch and Stash Challenge with the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge ,,,, I promise not to make a habit of it but time has been flying past and I really need to make a start on Christmas !!! I even have to make loads of cards to send having sold many of the ones I had already made.

We have a lovely skectch designed by the lovely Sue again for the next fortnight on the Sketch and Stash Challenge ,, it is a lovely sketch and perfect for larger images :-)
For the House Mouse and Friends Challenge the theme is

Oh Charming Christmas Tree ,,,, so we would like to see a tree and a charm on your card :-) the tree could be on the paper or it could be a christmas tree charm !! As long as you use a House Mouse or friends stamp too :-)

Don't you just LOVE these cute bunnies decorating their tree with carrots !! I just love the designer of these stamps ,, she is clever eh !! This stamp is called Carrot Tree and was a lovely gift from Heidi a while ago :-) Thanks Heidi xx I coloured the image with Copics and added Rock Candy stickles to the carrots. I think that product was made specifically for these carrots lol :-) I inked around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink . The papers are from a lovely Basic Grey Jovial collection. I addrd Star Dust stickles around the edge of the image and dotted it on the paper too ,, very sparkly IRL :-) The ribbon is SU Chocolate Chip , as is the card for matting ( available from the lovely Mandi aka Enchanted Occasions ) I used a Tim Holtz Ticket Die and stamp from the Odds and Ends set . I used a few Robins Nest dew drops and a punched snowflake with a button and last but not least ,,, the lovely tree charm was a gift from our fabulous and very generous teamie, America. America sent all the DT a lovely parcel recently FILLED with lots of gorgeous goodies !!!

Fantasy Tree

I decided to make a non DT card today ,,, something I haven't had the time to do for ages !! I have been wanting to make a card that I can 'mass' produce as all my cards have gone to a fair to raise funds for the Gozo SPCA so now I need to make loads quickly for me to send !!

Will make 6 of these now :-)

The theme on the Penny Black Challenge is to stamp on anything except white card. I hope this is allowed ,, the card WAS white but as I didn't have any suitable grey I coloured it with Black Soot Distress Ink using a Tim Holtz blending tool.

This Penny Black Fantasy Tree is definitely my most inked stamp EVER !! I use it for so many occasions ,, such a beautiful and versatile stamp ,, I see the DT like it as a couple of them used it too :-) I stamped the tree onto the inked base using a Black Graphite Brilliance ink pad. i then dooted loads of Star Dust Stickles everywhere and made an icy floor with it too :-) The papers are from Papermania and I inked all the edges with pigment ink and embossed with silver EP. I used a Martha Stewart Himalayan Snowflake punch, 2 Woodware Snowflake punches and a MS Icicle punch too ,,, some silver/grey organza ribbon from my drawer and that was it ,, done !! :-)

Meet Phoebe :-)

As some of you may know we have been busy painting and decorating Amy's room and this little stray turned up at Amy's door (her bedroom is on the ground floor) and she decided she liked the food on offer and decided to stay :-) She has enormous eyes ,, probably she had cat flu and survived. So she is number 7 !!! If anyone would like to send bags of cat food they would be gratefully received ha ha ha :-)

I bought this cute I Cane Count on You House Mousestamp a while ago and have finally got around to inking :-) isn't it CUTE !! :-) I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with a cream pigment ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts Sparkle powder. I added star Dust .stickles and Crystal glitter for loads of sparkle The papers are from the Echo Park Merry Christmas Kit . I used a little organza ribbon from my drawer and the lovelt tree charm was a gift from HM& Friends teamie, America :-) I also added a few red pearls from Bunny Zoe Crafts



Did I tell you I found mouse droppings under my kitchen sink ?? Brave little things eh coming into a house with 7 cats,, well 6 cats and a new addition kitten !! Anyway ,, I set a humane trap and yesterday morning there were 2 in there ,,, poor little things were scared to death !! At least they had some lovely Italian panetone and chocolate to eat while they were waiting to be set free :-)

Good Morning all, hope that you are warm and cosy wherever you are :-)

We didn't quite manage to get to 500 entries last week ,,, so we will keep trying !! :-)

This week Domi has made this fab sketch for us all to follow ,, I love this and have decided to start a mass production line to make several cards using this design :-)

The DT have all used Basic Grey products this week too, you don't have to to enter the challenge but if you have any we would love to see them used :-)

I used my fab new Hero Arts Snowy Night cling stamp. I stamped it with black pigment ink onto some script Basic Grey paper from the Jovial paper pad. I then sprinkled with black sparkle embossing powder and heated ,, this looks lovely IRL The papers are all from the same paper pad and I used black card for matting. I used some cream ribbon, a snowflake charm and some silver Robins Nest Fairytale Dew Drops to finish. The photo doesn't do this card justice, it looks flat and boring ,, but the sparkle is really lovely IRL ,,you will just have to take my word for it :-)
