I AM a Dancer !!

I made this card using the lovely digi download 'Suzie the Dancing Squirrel' You can see her and her friends at the Digital Stamp Oasis
I coloured her with copics, 3D'd her and layered her onto a circle nestie :-) I added a pearl earring and necklace using liquid pearls :-) I smudged a bit so don't look too closely !!! :-)I also added lace stickles to her tutu :-)

The papers are from Basic Grey silver mirri card and coredinations,the 'Dancer' paper is by Karen Foster.
The frame was cut out on my cricut using coredinations and mirri card, I added pearls to the center of the little flowers on the frame :-)
I am entering this into the folowing Challenges :-

1 Mojo Monday Challenge which is asking us to use this fab sketch :-)

2 Daring Cardmakers Challenge which is 'Musically Inspired' well I did intend to stamp a manuscript but didn't in the end cos I made the mirror instead ! But you can't dance without music !! So it is musically inspired eh !! If you don't agree just delete me :-((

3 Charisma Cardz Challenge which is asking for 'Flowers, Lace and Pearls' well I ticked all those boxes :-)

4 Cute Card Thursday Challenge which is 'Sporting Chance' Well dancing is a sport, do you count ballet in there too ?? !! :-) If not just delete me :-)

I am sorry for the bad photo, I took loads and they all showed me in the mirror !! not a pretty sight !! lol. In the end I cut out a hole in a piece of black card and tried to take the photo through it !! You can still see my fingers and the lens poking through !! lol

Oh no !! I just went to see the photo on the blog and just noticed a bit of black card dropped on the circle ! It must have dropped there while I was cutting a hole in the card !! It's not there really just ignore it !! :-)

Simon Says New Family Dolls Stamps :-)

I made this card using a lovely brand new set of stamps, Simon Says Clear Stamps WE ARE FAMILY DOLLS Exclusive Set, aren't they gorgeous !! You can see them and lots more in the Simon Says Stamp store :-)

The card was made following Dawny's fab sketch on the Papertake Weekly Challenge Lovely sketch and one I will be using again !! :-)
The papers are just bits from my scrap box, the swirly red and black mulberry paper I've had for a couple of years !!
The flower was made by colouring plain cream prima flowers with red and gold brilliance ink pads, the black one was already black :-)
The sentiment was from the same set and the oriental letters are from hero arts.

Lili of the Valley Challenge

What a lovey sunny morning it is here in Gozo ! Sunbathing weather ( Tho I don't do that !! I shadebathe :-))
Anyway on to this weeks Lili Of the Valley Challenge We are asked to make a card using the following gorgeous sketch :-)




Having just been to the UK I treated myself to a couple of Lili Of the Valley stamps so that I could make my GD cards using their stuff, only fair I thought !!
I chose this lovely 'Patch' which I bought online from the Glitter Pot isn't he gorgeous, I also bought a DCWV paper pad 'Pets' which I used for the circles on this card :-)The background flowers are a Whiff of Joy stamp. The paw print background is from Doodlebug I think !!



I coloured the image with copics and 3D'd him :-)
The paw print ribbon is from Meiflower, the sentiment is from the Clare Curd sentiment set and the frame is SU. The little bell under his chin is from papermania :-) I could do with some small dog tag charms ,,, need to go on a hunt ! Does anyone know where they might sell those ?? :-)

Funky Fairy's Challenge 17 # Buttons and Circles

This week on the Funky Fairy's Challenge we have a fabby theme !! :-)

Buttons and Circles


I used a fabby Penny Black chickens knitting stamp, isn't it cute !! :-) I also used yummy papers from the Funky Fairy's Papercrafts store.

The buttons are from papermania and the flower is from a Blog Candy with a twist from Cathy ( Ellieskeeper) :-0
I made a matching post it note holder too :-)

Simon Says Challenge 5 # Iris's Sketch

This week our DT IRIS created this fabby sketch for us to use for the Simon Says Challenge :-) I will definitely be using this again :-)

For my card I used a brand new set of Simon Says Clear Stamps WE ARE FAMILY DOLLS Exclusive Set





I used mainly Basic Grey Euphoria papers, I just love the colours in this pad, gorgeous !! :-) The paper beads were made using this too :-)
The images were coloured with copics and 3D'd and layered onto a little paper from the Basic grey wisteria paper The flower was a mixture of prima flowers.

Everything used on this card is available in the Simon Says Stamp store

House Mouse Monday and One Stop Challenges :-)

I made this card using the House Mouse Stamp 'Warmth for Winter' that I bought in winter and never used ! Shame on me I know !! :-) The sentiment stamps are from a new set Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Exclusive Set which are available from the Simon Says Stamp store I bought the HM stamp from there too, they have a fabulous range of these :-)

I masked the image so that only the mouse knitting would be inked, I used brown memento ink and then coloured the image with copics :-) I 3D'd her and mounted her on a nestie cut circle.
I colored the mouse wearing the hat and bootees to use on the inside :-)

The papers are Stamping Up, stardream shimmer pink and dark brown cardstock for layering. I also used some wool balls and a length of yarn :-)
I added sparkle with crystal gems and a little stickles :-)

I am entering this card into the House Mouse Monday Challenge which has asked us to use this fabulous sketch and the One Stop Craft Challenge

Heffalump Doodle's :-)

I made this card using the gorgeous Eli and Emily elephants digi download from the Doodle Palace Digi Download store aren't they cute !! :-)

The papers are a mixture, the yellow background is a download from the Funky Fairy's Papercrafts store, 'Its so Distressing' set.

I coloured the image with copics and 3D'd his head and tail and tied a ribbon around it :-)

The flowers are Prima ivory ones that I stamped with yellow and lilac brilliance inks.

The sentiment is from a new Simon Says Stamp Exclusive sentiment set called 'Simply the Best
Sentiments ; :-)

The ribbon on his tail is from my messy drawer :-)

Funky Fairy :-)

This is my daughter, Amy, wearing my Funky Fairy wings :-) Yes I did wear them when I was asked to be on the Funky Fairy's DT !! :-) Amy and her friend, Emma, who lives next door, were all ready to go to a fancy dress party when I took this photo :-) Don't they look fab !! :-)

OK now am editing and will do my job and pass these awards on :-)
But first I have to tell you one fact about me that you may not know ( thats the rule on the award from Sue !! :-))
This is difficult, can't think of anything interesting err OK thought of something :-)
On my 40th birthday I went for a night out to the 'Nightclub area in Malta' and there just happened to be a massive American aircraft carried in the harbour :-) Well all the sailors were there in their gorgeous white uniforms, ooh they were handsome ,,, anyway I ended up on the stage with them at the Hard Rock Cafe singing ( and yeah doing the moves !! ) of the Y M C A !!!!! lol

Ok Now to pass these on to 5 lovely friends. This is the hard bit cos I hate leaving anyone out so as well as these 5 I would like all my followers to take these too, I just can't link everyone it would take forever :-)

Simon Says Stamp Exclusives Sneak Peek :-)

10cm square notelet



Recipe book ( Ray translated it into Italian !! ) :-)



This is an absolutely gorgeous recipe !! I copied it from a Sunday Times magazine and have cooked it several times ! easy to do, basically just fry everything add the mushrooms which have been soaking in the chicken stock, sherry and simmer. Then add the creme fraiche and serve with either rice or potatoes and veg :-) Yummy !!



Gift of lovely Italian Porcini mushrooms :-)


I made these using a fabulous soon to be releases set of Simon Says Stamp Exclusives Clear stamps I think it would make a lovely gift for new neighbours, we are actually having new neighbours soon but so far they've caused nothing but trouble and we've had to get our lawyers involved so they will definitely not be getting these !! :-) We have never had any trouble before and everyone in our alley is lovely but several of us have had to resort to lawyers, it's not just us !!! Awful they are ughughugh !! hope they sell up and move quickly :-) Am planning on getting Amy's amplifier pointing in their direction on high volume while she practises her electric guitar :-) lol

Anyway will let you know as soon as these fabby stamps are released, watch this space for more sneak peeks :-)

Don't forget the Simon Says Challenge is now weekly, so we have a new one starting on Wednesday !!

Choo Choo !!! All Aboard :-)

I love making albums, and I especially enjoyed making this one :-) Isn't the image cute !! Its a new download called 'Sammy and the Steam Engine' available from the Digital Stamp Oasis

I coloured the image with copics and then smothered the train with diamond glaze, added a little stickles and 3D'd Sammy and the wheels :-)
The papers I used were Papermania snd stardream card. The text was cut out on my cricut :-)
I used my bind-It-All gadget to fix it all together an added ribbon, think thats all :-) !!

3 Challenges in 1 :-)

This is my 3rd attemp to post this ! It keeps disappearing !!
Ok start again !!

I made this card following the fabulous sketch by Dawn on the Truly Scrumptious Challenge they also ask us to 'Go dotty' :-)
It also qualifies for the Dare U 2 Digi Challenge
whose theme is 'Gingham and Stitching' they also request that the card be sent to a child on the Post Pals website, there is a link at the top of my sidebar :-) It also qualifies for the Papertake Weekly Challenge whose theme is 'Animal Antics', they would also like us to send the card to a child. Well I have sent some off in the post this morning and I have another pile waiting to go. This one has a stamp on already and has gone into the post box to Kerry F, go to the Post Pals website to read her story.

Boy's best Friend :-)

I made this card following the lovely sketch by Maggie on the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge
, I only found this a few days ago so unfortunately I missed the first one !
The image is a digi download from the Digital Stamp Oasis, so I know that doesn't count for stamping but the 'Best Friend' was stamped using a hero arts set so I hope that's OK if not just scrub my name off :-)
It also qualifies for the Cupcake Crafts Challenge whose theme this week is a 'Card for a Man or Boy' Well this one will be going to a special boy on Post Pals later this morning :-) I made this as a shaker card with gold/silver hearts and stars inside ( I didn't have any thing else ! bones would've been nice !! ) :-) I thought a child would like to give it a good ol' shake :-) !!
When I started this card I coloured it first intending it to qualify for the Color Create Challenge too, am not sure if they expect more Green/Blue though, so again if it doesn't qualify just scrub me off :-)
I did make this for the ABC Challenge too whose theme was M for Metallic but I forgot to upload it yesterday so I missed the deadline ! duh !!

Simon Says Challenge 'One for the Boy's'

It's time for another challenge over on the Simon Says Challenge blog. The theme this week is 'One for the Boy's', hop over to the challenge blog for details, there are fab prizes on offer this week Heidi from the Simon Says Stamp store is offering a $25 voucher and as though that wasn't enough Donna from Bearly Mine Designs has offered her CD Designer Extreme Vol 1 as a prize too !!! WOW !!

I also made the card to fit in with the Sketch and Stash Challenge
, where we have to use your newest stash on your card. Well I made this on Monday evening, Donna's CD, 'Designer Extreme Vol 1 arrived that day so the paper I used was very new !!
All the papers I used were printed using the CD, the stamps I used were from the Simon Says Exclusive set Paris Rome New York I have used this set alot I find it really useful for my scrapbooks too :-)
The text stamps are by hero arts, I used them alot too cos they look good wonky ! Perfect !! I hate using a stamp positioner !!
I also used a Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz collection stamp as the background to the Eiffel Tower which was then sprayed with green and orange glimmer mists.

The Design Team have made some absolutely fabulous creations for you to see and give you inspiration so hop over to the blog ( after leaving me a comment !! lol ) to see their wonderful works of art :-)

Pollycraft Monday Challenge

Hi I made this for the Pollycraft Monday Challenge
whose theme this week is flowers :-) I received this fabulous image and the papers in an email from Pollycraft yesterday :-) Isn't that nice of them :-)
Unfortunately I started colouring her face before I had let the ink dry properly ( I was so eager !! lol) and the ink did run a bit when I started colouring her face but I think she just looks a bit smudgy and sweaty from all the shopping she's been doing lol. I promise to wait longer next time :-) I decided to give her hair a trim too :-) couldn't be bothered cutting around all those curls, anyway I think it makes her look trendy :-)
I got the idea of embossing the flowers from my Funky fairy's teamie Emma :-)
This card will be going to a Post Pal, have quite a pile now :-)
