Newton's Curious Christmas

Hi all, I hope all is well with you xx

Last Christmas I didn't make enough Christmas cards, so this year I am trying to do better and will be joining in with more festive challenges through the year, hopefully ;-)

I made this card to join in with some of the fabulous Christmas challenges out there ;-)

I used a super cute Newton's Nook 'Newton's Cutious Christmas' Stamp Set 

I colored Newton and the roof with Copic Markers and masked before splattering with Distress Resist Spray. When it was dry I blended Faded Denim and Black Soot Distress Inks over the top.  When the ink was dry I white heat embossed the sentiment.  I used a MFT  Stitched Rectangles Frame Die and Simon Says Stamp Champagne Glitter Cardstock to add some sparkle. 

The checked paper is from a MFT Black and White Plaid 6x6 Paper Pack

in editing the photo the coloring on the moon disappeared, you can see it better on this unedited pic
