Simon Says Stamp Kids Vacation Challenge

Hi all and welcome to another of our annual Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Kid's Challenge where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.

ANYTHING GOES 

It is time to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity! You are allowed to hide your Copic Markers and extra special papers and you are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to 'DO IT' themselves as much as possible :-)

This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive.

We have not 1, not 2 but  3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon!

Simon Says Stamp Home Sweet Home

Hi all :-) How are you? I hope all is well with everyone xx

I needed to make a couple of cards for family and friends who are in the process of moving house and the Simon Says Stamp July Card Kit had THE perfect 'Home Sweet Home' Clear Stamp Set in it!!

I stamped and coloured the row of houses and then fussy cut around them (I am hoping a coordinating die set is out soon ;-)) I added a perfectly mowed striped 'lawn' using washi tape.

and I decorated an envelope to match

This next one is a little smaller and I added a Tim Holtz Cityscape Commute little yellow car. My friend has one that looks a lot like this ;-)

and I stamped the row of houses on the envelope too.

Concord & 9th Oh Snap

I used a Concord & 9th Oh Snap Clear Stamp Set and Coordinating Die Set

I colored with Copic Markers and added a few dabs of Star Dust Stickles here and there.  The papers are from a paper pack in my  'Oldie but Goodie' box but there are very similar ones HERE ;-)

I couldn't resist using my brand spanking new camera as a photo prop!! It's fabulous!! I just wish I had bought it before our African safari holidy earlier this year, but, we shall jsut have to go back again eh!! ;-) 

and I finished the inside using the same  Happy Days Clear Stamp Set
