Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Happy New Year To All!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and hope that 2019 is a good one for all of us :-)

This week the challenge is

SOMETHING NEW!

I made a card using brand spanking NEW products from the latest 'You Are Loved' release :

a W indows To My Heart Die, Always and Forever Clear Stamp Set and a Damask Background Cling Stamp

I started by white heat embossing the Damask design onto watercolor paper and then blening Worn Lipstick and a little Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks over the top.

I then die cut the W indows To My Heart design from Simon's thick white cardstock and proceeded to make a shaker card (I love shakers don't you!?!) ;-)

and I finished the inside

and a special card deserves a bespoke envelope so I made one to match ;-)

I often get asked how I make the shaker cards so here is the assembly. I use a double layer of Scotch Foam Tape so that there is enough depth for the sequins to shake ;-)

Welcome to the first ABC Christmas Challenge of 2019!!! I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and wish you all the very best for a Happy and Healthy 2019!

We are now starting our 9th year! Can you believe it! I started as a guest for the first ever challenge and stayed! This month the lovely Helen is the hostess and the theme is

A - Anything goes

and/or

B - Berries
I went with the Anything Goes option and used this super cute Cool Penguin Stamp and Die Set from Stampendous

For the background I dabbed some Stormy Sky, Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks onto a craft sheet, spritzed lightiy with water and dabbed the watercolor paper into it. When it was dry I used a Falling Snow Stencil, White Embossing paste and a sprinkling of Prisma Glitter to add texture and sparkle.

I coloured the image with copic markers and gave him an ugly jumper ;-)

I wanted to make this interactive so I used a Lawn Fawn Slide On Over Die to give him a ski slope. I made the snowballs using Pretty Pink Posh Clear Drops, iced with prisma glitter

and I finished the inside.
