Simon Says Stamp Mod Poinsettia

Hi all :-) I have just returned home from a lovely trip home to the UK, visiting my daughter in Glasgow and family and friends in Yorkshire, it was so nice to get to see everyone ;-)

When I arrived home, not only was a fabulous Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit waiting for me but a lovely parcel of Diecember Products! Lots of  new stash to play with!  Thanks Heidi and all at Simon!

I made a set of 5 cards today using a gorgeous new Mod Poinsettia and Words On A Line Die Set 

For this first one I used the partial die cutting technique to cut a whole poinsettia out of gold cardstock. I used the die to cut the aperture from the base card and then adhered Vellum to the inside to give a lovely soft effect for the backgound.

For this 2nd one I used a Merry Christmas die from a Deco Trees Die Set 

and another 3 simple cards to complete the set!
