Simon Says: Stamp It For STAMPtember®

I made a couple of cards to share today, first up is this Christmas shaker card made using a STAMPtember® Center Cut Holiday Icons Cling Stamp. 

I used Simon's Stitched Rectangles and Stitched Circles Dies to cut the front panel from Watercolor Paper and blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I then stamped the Holiday Icons design over the top.

 I didn't notice until I came to photograph this but I must have dropped the stamp when I was lifting it off as it has double stamped in areas. I actually quite like the look of this, it makes it look a little distressed and grungy, I will be doing this deliberately, occasionally, from now on!! ;-) 

I used the same ink and blended a second piece of paper and then used White Embossing Paste and a Simon's Falling Snow Stencil for the inside of the shaker. I love that this cute little Retro Deer is looking up at the  Alexis Snowflake ;-) 

and I finished the inside 

and made a coordinating envelope!

For my 2nd card I used a new STAMPtember® Spiritual Sentiments Clear Stamp Set and a  Harvest Stencil along with lots of sparkle!

I started by blending Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink over some watercolor paper and then applied the stencil over the top. I then blended some gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink before applying a thick layer of embossing paste. While it was still wet I sprinkled with Vintage Platinum Distress Glitter Dust, so super sparkly IRL.  For the edge I used double sided sticky tape and sprinkled the same glitter over the top.

Wild Rose Studio 'Winter Cottages'

Hi all and welcome back to a new theme on the ABC Christmas Challenge! If you have been joining us from the beginning of the year you should have a healthy box of cards ready to use! If not then maybe you should think about joining in!

The lovely Helen is our hostess for this month and the themes are 

'S' for Snow 
and/or
'T' for Teal 
You can choose any or all of the themes, just don't forget the Christmas bit ;-)

For my 'S' for Snow card I used a gorgeous Wild Rose Studio Winter Cottages Set and made a matching envelope 

I stamped with Memento Tuxedo and coloured with Copic Markers before adding a generous sprinkling of snow ;-) 

and I finished the inside
