This is Valerie's last week with us in the Designer Spotlight! It has been short but very sweet having you along with us! We would like to thank you for your fabulous creations, it has been such a pleasure :-)
I decided to make a Party Banner and I have to say I do love how it turned out, the photos really don't do it justice ;-)
I used a Lawn Fawn Stitches Party Banners Die Set and cut the banners from Watercolor Paper and Soft Navy Cardstock.
I then gave the banners a coating of Gesso and when it was dry I blended Faded Jeans and Cracked Pistachio Oxide Inks over the top. I sprinkled with 'A Bit Jaded' and Blackcurrant Infusions before spritzing with water.
I used a Simon's Exclusive Funky Snowflake and blended the same oxide inks before smothering with Rock Candy Distress Glitter
I used hand drawn letters and silver heat embossed them twice to give a good covering. I then used Silver Bullion Gilding Flakes to add extra shine to random areas
