Simon Says Happy Birthday on the Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to join us for our 7th Birthday celebrations
Happy Birthday
We would like you to create something to help with our birthday celebration! It could be a card, a tag to attach to a gift, a gift or maybe a birthday banner or cake topper! Whatever you decide to make we will be looking forward to seeing how you join us for the party!

As it is the first Monday of the month, as as it is our birthday, we are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Products!

A birthday wouldn't be the same without extra gifts so for this challenge we will be giving away not one but 2 X $50 vouchers to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

This month we are welcoming the lovely and super talented Simona Rebecchi  aka Ginny and the Sheep. I am sure you will have all visited her fabulous blog but just in case you missed it you really need to drop by, it is full of awesome eye candy!

One of my most fave new products is the fabulous Circle Doodles Embossing Plate which I also used last week  for my card on the Wednesday Challenge . I just LOVE it! 

I tested this die on a variety of card and it does work better on Ranger Watercolor Paper or thicker #120 card stock , you get a really lovely impression :-)

I smooshed some Worn Lipstick Oxide Ink onto a craft mat and dipped the card into it, followed by Spiced Marmalade to give a delicate soft look, not too much color. I then splattered with Pomegranate Seed and Lemon Zest inks.

I used the same colours of Oxide Inks and blended them over a separate piece of Watercolor Paper, splattered it with water and then die cut the Painted Happy Birthday, Eyelet Arch Border and Balloon

and I finished the inside ;-)
