Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the Patriotic Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

PIN IT

It's getting a bit prickly around here!  We want to see you use pins, paper clips, clothes pins, etc. on your projects for this week!  Get creative, folks!  We can't WAIT to see your PINS!

AND... speaking of PINNING.... Did you know that Simon Says Stamp has some really great boards stuffed to the brim with inspiration on Pinterest?  Be sure to follow!  And be sure to pin your favorite DT projects to your own boards, too!

I used a  Kaiser Craft Wooden Flourishes Nappy Pin :-)

I have had this Penny Black Baby Hammock stamp for years and it is still one of my fave baby card stamps, isn't baby Hedgie adorable :-) I made the background paper using an Impression Obsession Gingham stamp and Hero Arts Shadow ink, I also used the same ink to colour the card behind the die cut hearts.
 I am LOVIN' Judikins Sticky stuff ,,, I used it to glitter some vellum before die cutting the delicate butterfly,, sooo pretty IRL,,   !

ABC 'N' for No Embellishments Challenge

Good Morning :-) I hope the sun is shining wherever you are :-)

There are only 167 days left to Christmas and you can never have too many cards ready, so if you haven't already started popping cards into your Xmas box then now's the time to start ! :-)

We all need to make cards that will fit into envelopes, especially those that are to be posted overseas, so this challenge is perfect for those ,,,,

N for No Embellisments,

no gems, ribbons, flowers or even punched snowflakes ,, haha :-)

I didn't use any stamps this week ,, all die cuts using dies borrowed from Heather ! Which I definitely need to buy now !! :-)

I love the deer walking amongst the trees and the long grass ,,, :-) I masked the moon and inked the background with distress inks then sprayed with Studio Calico shine to create a snowy background, I love this effect :-) I then masked the background and sprayed the moon with a delicate yellow ands soft orange copics, this doesn't show up in the photo unfortunately.

In retrospect I would chop a 1/2 cm off the whole card and have the tops of the trees at the top of the card ,,,, next time ,,,,, :-)
