I used Tim Holtz Snowman Blueprint stamp and die set, Linen Ribbon and Ranger Frosted Crystal Embossing Powder

I really like the chalkboard effect and in the recent Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 102 Online Class he made a video to create this look using Frosted Crystal EP and I love this technique ! 

As I used the chalkboard technique I thought I should make a blackboard for this cute snowman so I downloaded this fab design from the Silhouette Studio store. the little pieces of chalk are in fact bits of toothpicks coloured white with a marker.

The snowflakes are new Simon Says Stamp exclusive dies and I smothered them with glossy accents before smooshing them around in a pool of distress glitter.

I have just realised that a gem has fallen off the branch on the tag, there should be 3  :-) Will have to glue them on better with glossy accents :-)

ABC Christmas 'X' for out of the BoX

Hi all, I hope all is well with you and hope your Christmas preparations are now in full swing :-) I have my puddings steaming on the stove and am listening to Michael Buble so am getting right into the spirit of things, and so early in the morning ! :-)

This week it's Michelle's turn to choose the theme over on the ABC Christmas Challenge ,,,,,

'X'for Out of the BoX'

I went for a super quick and easy option and made a cracker on my Silhouette Cameo :-)

I cut it out of plain white card then used a new Simon Says Stamp Snowflake Stencil and some Stormy Sky Distress Ink to create the design. I then spayed with shine and it looks really fab and shimmery IRL :)
