Hi all :-) I’m back again with another card ,, this time it’s for the Lili’s Little Fairies Challenge whose theme this week is ,,,
Christmas for the Boys :-)
We are sponsored by Nitwits so a fab $10 voucher on offer this week ! :-)
I used this very cute Merry Christmas Penguins stamp which I just bought, along with one or 3 others :-)
I coloured with Copics, added a few silver stamped snowflakes and glittered with star dust stickles. I embossed some plain white card with a Swiss Dots folder and the designer papers are from a Memory BoxPixie pack. The North Pole sign was cut out on the Silhouette Cameo and I added glossy accents to the pole and crystal glitter on the snowy top :-) I punched a couple of MS punches and popped a big gem in the middle to finish :-)
Thanks for looking, the DT have made some gorgeous cards so please hop over to the challenge blog to see them :-)
So I set myself a little challenge to make 2 cards using only products that are in the kit ,,, no other stamps, papers or embellies, though inks and tools I allowed myself,, and these are what I came up with.
For the first one I stamped the flower image 3 times, once onto the background card, and twice onto pieces of the designer papers, cutting them all out and layering using scrap dots. I used the Liquid Pearls on the pollen in the centre and stamped the sentiment using Memento Rich Cocoa ink. I added another strip of card and used some of the gorgeous ribbon and made a little button using a Button Quartet die. I slightly inked the edges with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
I made this one next ,, making a circle aperture for the sentiment to be stamped on the inside. I cute some thin strips of the paper and matted these onto some black card and tore the edge,, added some faux stitching using a white gel pen and I adhered one of the beautiful flowers on there too :-)
