This week we have another great challenge for you......your fave !! :-)

ANYTHING GOES !!

we are all using twine on our cards this week :-) You don't have to to join in but if you have some then we would love to see it used on your creations :-)

I used this very cute Big Eyes stamp from Hero Arts, stamped twice coloured with copics and the body and claws cut out and popped up with pop dots so that the branch and tail are in the background :-) I then used glossy accents on his beak. I used an ivory coloured basic card and made the yellow card by colouring white card with a Copic YR23 marker. The papers are from a Kaiser Craft Check In pack

I made the stars using various colours and makes of twine, Hemptique, Hero Arts and American Tag. I started with a piece of card which I had covered with Sookwang tape, I then just layed down strips of twine to make a design, I then coated with some Multi Medium, just to be on the safe side, these strips of twine are definitely not going to fall off :-) When dry I cut the stars using a Sizzix Stars Die I used some Hero Hues Earth ribbon and wrapped more twine around before sticking a star on top and finishing with a Basic Grey button.

I wrote the sentiment on my Silhouette Cameo machine ( LOVE LOVE LOVE it ) and popped a small star and tiny button on there too.

I am keeping up my resolution to finish the insides :-)

I used a Hero Arts Tiny Owl stamp and the sentiment is from Stampendous.

ABC Christmas ‘K’ for Keep It Simple :-)

Hi all :-) ‘K’ already !!! how many is that in my Xmas box ?? ,, err A,B,C ,,, err 11 !! WOO HOO :-) that’s the family ones done ,,,unless I forgot someone ,,, :-)

This week it is Bettina's turn to host the challenge and she chose ,,,

should be easy eh !!! hmmm , this is my 2nd attempt ,, :-)

For my card I used this very cute Pickle with Tipple image, coloured with copics and I used a white gel pen to make dots on the ribbon and star dust stickled added here and there. The papers are from Pink Petticoat and I used a Martha Stewart Icicle border punch ( now discontinued unfortunately) and 2 snowflake punches, glittered and a Robins Nest Dew Drop popped in the middle. The red spotty organza ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.

I am keeping up with my resolution to finish off the insides so am not left with another mountain to do !! I have one already pending ,,,,, :-) I had me wonky eyes on when I stamped the sentiment so dont look too closely :-)
