We are showcasing products from
My Favorite Things this week :-) as always, you don't have to use them but if you do have some then we would love to see them :-)
It is Laurel's last week in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say what a pleasure it has been having you along with us Laurel :-) Thank You so very much for all of your wonderful creations :-) xx
I saw this fabulous teapot template designed by Deneen on the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge last week and thought it would be perfect to use with my images this week ! Thanks Deneen xx Also Janette had made it into an easel card so I thought I would CASE that idea :-)
After I had started I was beginning to regret it,, it took me AGES ! but I persevered and got there in the end, and it was fun ,,, :-)
After cutting out the shapes from basic white card and papers from Kaiser Crafts I inked the edges with Victorian Velvet and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. I stamped the cute MFT Tea for Two image 3 times onto Neenah cardstock using Memento ink and coloured with Copics,

I then layered the cup and the little bunny bum with pop dots and added a little Polar White Flower soft on his cotton tail :-) I cut out the circles with Spellbinders dies and inked those edges too. I used a Heart Swirl die and made 3 roses using the Mini Rolled roses dies,
TIP,I used watercolour paper to make these, inked with distress inks, sprayed with water and then scrunched before rolling, I find them much easier to make this way and more malleable :-)
I used a Martha Stewart Lace border punch and a real doily underneath. The tag was made using a MFT stamp from an Always Time for Tea Die-Namics set and I added some Hemptique twine.
For the lid insert I stamped the ‘steam’ with versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder before inking with the distress inks, I then stamped the sentiment and cut out the teapot using the dies in the set. I added glossy accents and lots of glitter to the top and a bit of lace, inked with Vintage Photo, to finish :-)

Thanks for looking :-) Laurel and the DT have made some gorgeous creations for you to see so hop on over to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge to see them
