ABC Christmas ,,, ‘O’ for Old ,,,

Hi all :-) ,, it is really difficult to think about Christmas when the sun is cracking the flags !! it is HOT here in Gozo ,,, phew !!

It is time for a new theme over on the ABC Christmas Challenge. This time it is Jayne’s turn to choose the theme and she chose

‘O’ for Old ,,,, use an old stamp, ,,, easy !

Unfortunately this is Jayne’s last challenge with us as she has decided to step down from the DT and move on to pastures new. It has been fabulous working with you Jayne and I wish you all the very best xx

The DT were all given images to use and I chose this very cute Christmas Friends stamp

I coloured the image with Copics, added glossy accents to their noses and star dust stickles here and there. I then inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink. The papers are downloads from Pink Petticoat and I used an EK Success snowflake border punch and Martha Stewart snowflake punch too. I embossed a strip of white card using a Swiss Dots folder and added some ribbon and Robins Nest Dew Drops to finish.

Papertake Weekly ,,, Getting Cute

Hi all :-) I think the HOT HOT HOT challenge was a bit too optimistic for those of you in the UK, but even though it was teeming with rain you rose to the challenge and got your HOT pinks and oranges out :-) thanks for joining in !

This week on the PTW we want to see CUTE creations :-)

We are sponsored by the lovely Wendy at Digital Delights so a fab choice of digi images for one lucky winner :-)

For my card I used a new release stamp from the Wild Rose Studio, this one is called Millie Baking, isn’t she cute :-) I coloured her with Copics and Prismacolor pencils and used a little glossy accents on the rim of the bowl. The papers are a Pink Petticoat download and I used a strip of cream card, embossed with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and made the border using a Arch Lattice punch. The flower was made using an EK Success Buttercup punch, a button from my drawer and some American Tag twine. I used my new Magnolia Heart Swirl die to pop underneath. I love this die, very pretty :-) The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the charm was in my drawer, I used some new Hero Arts Floral Dots and the sentiment came with the stamp.
