Totally Papercrafts ,,,,,, Non Traditional Christmas .

Good Morning all :-) Hope you're all looking forward to a relaxing weekend ,, tho I suspect with Christmas fast approaching preparations will be well underway !!! :-/

To help you along you can get on with some Christmas cards and join in with a few challenges ,,, lots of scope to combine at the moment !!

The challenge for the next week on the Totallly Papercrafts Challenge is ,,,

UNTRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS ,,,,No Reds or Greens ,, nice and easy :-)

I recently bought this lovely Hero Arts Snowy Night cling stamp ,, thinking it would be good for quick and easy cards ,,, which it COULD be am sure ,,, this one took me AGES though !! lol :-) I made the paper for the background and the image by brayering a Big and Juicy ink pad, not sure which one but it goes from dark blue to light pink and applied the ink to plain white card, for the background I then stamped a PB script stamp in black ink. The snowy night was stamped using the same black ink . I sprayed it with Silver Glimmer Mist and added Star Dust Stickles for extra sparkle, it does look lovely and shimmery IRL. I added some spotty organza ribbon and some glittered punched stars to finish. the sentiment is from a Hero Arts sentiment set.

Simon Says ,,,, LET IT SNOW !!

Oh wow !!! I LOVE glitter and sparkle and I am in good company !! YOU all do too !! YAY !! we had 466 entries last week and I am on a mission to reach 500 this week ,,, will you help ??? IF we reach 500 I will be asking Heidi to add a Christmas pressie as a little extra into the winners parcel !!! ( I haven't asked yet so I hope she says yes now I have said it !!!) ooohh I am sure she will !! yeah !!! :-)

I coloured the image with Copics and added loads of Star Dust Stickles for sparkle ,,, wish they sold this in large bottles !! I inked around the edge with Stormy Sky Distress ink and used this for the snowflake too.The papers are Echo Park Merry Christmas ones ,, I love these :-) I used a Martha Stewart snowflake border punch and Himalayan snowflake punch . I also used a Spellbinders Snowflake Wonder die too. the sentiment is also a HM Christmas wishes one
