Stamp Something's 2 Year Blogoversary Blog Hop

I was thrilled when I was asked by Erin if I would like to join in with the Stamp Something Challenge's 2nd Blogoversary Blog Hop and said YES immediately :-)

I am not going to tell you where to go next ,,, yet ,,, first you have to see what I made :-)



I made this card following Jo's lovely sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge :-) This is my new House Mouse Stamp that was a gift from Heidi at Simon Says Stamp this one is called Birthday Cupcake :-)
I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with Daffodil ink and embossed with sparkle embossing powder. The papers are Basic Grey from the Cupcake pad and the flowers are Prima sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist and dotted with star dust stickles. the cupcake had some glitter treatment too ,,, can't have too much glitter in my opinion :-) The sentiment is from a mini Hero Arts Cupcakes and Gems set I stamped some Penny Black Mice paw prints along the bottom piece of paper and embossed those too.



The next stop on the hop is the fabulous DORTE'S BLOG, she makes some amazing creations !! If you haven't visited her blog before you are in for a treat ,, make a coffee and get comfy ,, you are likely to be there for a while admiring her art :-)

Wild Rose Studio DT card for the Just Cute Bears Challenge :-)

Bev has made a gorgeous sketch for us to follow on the Just Cute Bears Challenge and I just had to ink up my new very cute Milton Bear stamp from the Wild Rose Studio :-)



The image I used is called Milton with Barrow, I coloured him with copics, coloured the edges with spun sugar distress ink from Simon Says Stamp and added star dust stickles to the flowers. the papers sentiment and brad are also from the Wild Rose Studio and the flower is Prima , sprayed with pearl glimmer mist and the petals curled.



i am entering this into the Corrosive Challenge too whose theme is Clean and Simple ,, do you think this qualifies ?? it looks clean and simple to me :-)

Sketch and Stash Challenge

Thanks for all your wonderful entries last week following my sketch I really enjoyed seeing them :-)

I have never made one of this type of card before but when I saw Christine's card on the House Mouse Monday Challenge DT I thought that this sketch would work perfectly :-)
I chose to use this lovely 'Flip Flops' image ,, I used to look just like her ,,,, in my dreams lol :-) I masked the image and stamped the parasol from the Simon Says Exclusives set behind her, the drink and sentiment stamps on the inside are all from the same set. The papers are a brand new Creative Cottage digi download set and are being released TODAY !! how cool is that ,, we got to use them first !! this set is called Daisy Chain and is lovely :-)



I coloured the image with copics and coloured the edges with wild honey distress ink. I added star dust stickles for sparkly sand and a few spots on the brolly and her lovely glass of lemonade :-) The ribbon and candy dots are from my stash and the shaped chipboard sun has been in my drawer for ever. the flip flops were a gift from a blog buddy and I have had them a while too :-)
