Tim Holtz Santa's Helper

Hi all :-) I hope you're all having a fabulous day wherever you are!! 

As soon as I saw this new Tim Holtz Santa's Helper Die Set I just had to have one! Isn't he cute!! :-D

I cut Santa's Helper a couple of times out of Ranger Watercolor Paper and used Candied Apple and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks to colour. I used a sharp red pencil to add some ribbing on his jumper and added some Distress Rock Candy Glitter on his hat trim and pompom. I used papers from a new TH Christmas Paper Pack for the background and gifts and finished with a couple of strips of Christmas Design Tape

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Remembrance Day, which is on the 11th November, honours the sacrifices that were made during past wars. We will remember them and thank them for their service. Without their heroic efforts the world would be a very different place.

I used a Leaf Branch Oval Die, which is one of my most fave ever dies! Simply gorgeous and perfect for making shakers! ❤️

I used Schoolhouse Red and made a frame using Stitched Rectangle Dies and usd the same card, splattered with White Gesso for the background. I layered with Black and Ultra Thick White Card Stock

Memory Box Silverdale Branch

Hi all :-) the lovely Tracey McNeeley aka In My Creative Opinion, got her 25 Days of Christmas Tags annual event off to a cracking start yesterday and I thought that I would try to join in as much as possible over the coming days and not have to resort to shop bought tags as I usually do ;-) 

I made this tag using a Memory Box Silverdale Branch and Winter Berries Dies 

I coloured the die cuts with Copic Markers and used a scrap of paper to add a Simon's Exclusive Perfect Bow. The 'JOY' was made using the Gold Thickers that are in the current  Simon Says Stamp 'Woodland Whimsy' November Card Kit.

I added some ribbon, twine and Tim Holtz Tiny Bells to finish.

Edited to add: the berries are simply coloured, they are not actually 3D :-D 

The little sequin on the tag isn't glued in place, it's just a stray fro the photostaging ;-)
