Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

Happy Mother's Day!
 If you are lucky enough to have your Mum with you on this special day then I hope you are having a wonderful day! :-)

The latest Simon Says Stamp 'Blissful' Card Kit has been revealed!! I am stalking the postie waiting for mine to arrive!! It's GORGEOUS!! 

While I am waiting I thought I would make a card using products in the last 'May' Kit that was waiting for me when I returned home from my trip to Simon HQ ;-)

I used the lovely watercolor panel by Suzy Plantamura. I chopped it down a bit rather than using the whole panel, that way I can make 3 cards with one sheet! ;-)

 There were some lovely Crayola Fine Line Markers in the kit and I used those combined with Distress Inks to colour the succulents.

and I finished the inside, I think it does make them a little bit extra special ;-)

Simon Says Stamp 'So Deer'

When I arrived back from my recent trip to Simon HQ I found a lovely parcel waiting for me and inside it was this super cute 'So Deer' stamp set, designed by 14 year old Kaylea Miller! Her Mum is Kay Miller who I am sure most of you will know ;-)

I couldn't wait to ink it up!

I coloured with copic markers and used versamark to add some watermark flowers and leaves for the background mat. I think it adds a little bit of extra interest, what do you think? I love that this set has lots of little stamps to create backgrounds and also lots of fab sentiments too! 

I finished the inside too. 

Well Done Kaylea, you are so super talented, just like your Mum!:-)

I am back from a fabulous trip to Simon HQ!! the CREATE event was absolutely brilliant and I am sure that all of the students will have had a great time! Were you there? if so please leave a comment letting me know your thoughts :-)

I was away from home for 4 weeks, one week of that was spent in London and travelling. It was so nice to get together with Heidi, Jason,Steph and everyone behind the scenes at Simon Says Stamp. Everyone really does work tremendously hard to make sure that they bring as many products as possible into the store and that everyones parcels are shipped asap. Their customer care is outstanding :-)

Anyways onto the challenge!

I used a super adorable Amanda Is Awesome Cling Stamp.

I got carried away with the gorgeous stamp and whatnot and completely forgot the theme, luckily Amanda is wearing a 'dotty' dress, PHEW!! ;-)

I love how she is looking off into the distance and thinking of who she is missing with her little furry friend by her side to give her comfort ;-)

I finished the inside too and inlaid the die cut 'big hugs'
