Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: New Something

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and hope that Santa left you some crafty goodness in your stockings!

Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

New Something

New Crafty Stash, New Baby, New Job, New Life, Wedding etc, we will be looking forward to seeing whats new!

The Design Team all used new Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products. You don't have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

I used a new Simon Says Stamp January'Snow Much Thanks' Card Kit and a Winter Snow Die Set and made a couple of cards!

I love everything about this kit, my fave colours are blue/aqua so this kit is perfect!

I also love shakers, so I combined the 2 and made this CAS shaker card, I scored the card so that it had a 3mm space for the shaker to fit on the inside.

For my next one I tore a strip of the vellum and then stamped and heat embossed the snowflakes using 3D sparkle puff.

These are the cards I have made so far and there is still so much more product to use in the box!!

ABC Christmas: 'A and B' Challenge

Happy New Year and welcome to the first theme of the year on the ABC Christmas Challenge! We are doing things a little bit differently this year, each month the challenge will have 2 themes and you can choose which you would like to do, or do both!

Each challenge will also last for the whole month so you will have longer to join in ;-)

To get the year started the themes for January are

I made a card using the Simon Says Stamp January Card Kit

'B' for Bow and Blue

I LOVE this kit, it had my name written all over it! the blues and sparkle, perfect for me :-)

I used a polka dot embossing folder to give the vellum some texture, I love how it turns the dots an opaque white, and then stitched it to the card. Vellum is notoriously difficult to adhere invisibly, so I thought I would embrace it and make it as visible as possible ;-)

Simon Says Monday Challenge: Start Afresh

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! We hope you all had a wonderful time over the Christmas holidays and we would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best for 2017!!

I am sorry I am late but I had computer issues, which thankfully, was fixable but it did mean that my computer was put back to factory settings and I am having to add programs again, but, at least it is working Woo hoo!! I still need to work on the photo editing programme though ;-)

This week we are challenging you to

START AFRESH

We would like you to use something fresh out of the packaging, i.e. something never used before.

We are showcasing the fabulous Carabelle Studio Products this week. If you have them we would love to see them used, but you don't have to use them to join in with the challenge

I used a new Le Roses De La Vie stamp set, they reminded me of Rennie Macintosh designs, and a fabulous Textures 2 Die Set which I have used before ;-)

I love these roses and I am sure I will be using them a lot in the future too. I white heat embossed and then coloured them with Lindy's Gang Mermaid Seashells Powders, they have a beautiful shimmer IRL, they are packed full of mica ;-)

Fr the background I used Tumbled Glass Ink and then used a Dot fade Stencil and a sentiment stamp to add more interest
