Hi all, I am very late this week with my DT card for the ABC Christmas Challenge, things just got in the way, but better late than never eh ;-)

There are only 14 days left to Christmas! My goodness this year has flown by and as I have been away from home quite a lot recently I am so not ready. I have hardly made a start on writing any cards! I had better get a wiggle on!

This fortnight Wilma is our hostess and the theme is

'Y' for YOUNGSTERS

I made this with young teenage love in mind, well I didn't really, I just got carried away making a card and forgot the theme, well, I was in a rush so thats my excuse lol

I recently bought this super cute Fox Hollow set and really wanted to ink it up. Isn't this little foxy critter adorable! I wanted to keep the background simple in white and let the colourful fox be the centre of attention.

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is

TAG IT

This is the time of year when we all need a few tags and there is nothing nicer than a parcel wrapped and finished with a handmade tag, although I have to confess I have used some store bought ones this year. I was posting parcels while I was in the UK and forgot to take some tags with me :-/

I used Bird Crazy Stamp and Thinlits Die Set, Crazy Things Stamp and Die Set and Festive Scribbles Die Set.

I thought this little robin would like to decorate his tree with candy canes, isn't he cute ;-)

I just love these Crazy Birds and after I saw THIS CARD on Barbara's Blog I had to get this tree die! I didn't go back to look at Barbara's card until I went now to get a link and realised that she had used the same bird on her card too! It just shows how things stay in your mind without even realising :-)

I used Cracked Pistachio and Stormy Sky Distress Inks for the background and then smothered with Micro Glaze before embossing the snowfall background. The Glaze prevents the ink for seeping into the paste and changing its white colour.
