Thinking Of You

Happy Mother's Day !! I hope you all have a wonderful day !!

 Sean is in the UK and Amy is in Malta, but hopefully we will all be together soon :-)

I made a couple of Thinking Of You cards, not the best cards to post on what should be a happy day, but there are many that no longer have their Mum's with them so these are for them. xx 

For this first one I used a lovely Wild Rose Studio 'Woodland Posy Die Set'

I used a Hero Arts Friend Definition Cling Stamp for the background. 

For the next one I used a Memory Box Honeyblossom Sprig Die and my most fave Bokeh Lights Stencil Set for the background

Minnie Mouse CD Case

My beautiful little g'niece celebrated her 1st Birthday a few days ago and she had a Minnie Mouse themed party. 

My niece (her Aunty) and her husband did the party photography and made her a CD of all the festivities, and I made this for the CD. 

It's a bit of a long story, are you still with me ?? haha 

I downloaded Minnie from a free image website, I think it was meant for children's colouring books, and coloured with Copic Markers. 

And this is the inside. 

I just happened to have a 12x12 Disney Paper Pack and the paper and little badge are from that.

and this is the birthday girl with her beautiful mummy, isn't she adorable :-)

Bokeh Lights HB2U

For those of you that saw my Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge post this is the card that failed :-)

We were showcasing Tim Holtz sentiment stamps and I meant to use the 'Written Sparkle' Wood Stamp  inside the shaker, but forgot until it was all stuck down !! I do love the way this turned out though, the tag finishes it of nicely I think :-)

I just LOVE the Bokeh Lights Stencils !! These are my most faves and I am using them on almost all of my cards now ! They create such pretty backgrounds with the help of a few inks and maybe embossing pastes, glitters etc !

I had better get back to work, we have just ripped out the kitchen and the whole house is a disaster area, I really need to do something, it's like an obstacle course just to reach the kettle !!

Simon Says Lets Get Sentimental

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is

LET'S GET SENTIMENTAL

Simply use a sentiment on your project ! There are so many fabulous sentiment stamps, dies, stencils, stickers etc that is is nice to let them take centre stage once in a while don't you think ?

We are showcasing TIM HOLTZ PRODUCTS this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

I made 2 cards to share today, it would have been 3, but that's another story for another time ;-) I used this gorgeous Tim Holtz 'Written Sparkle' Wood Stamp 

I LOVE the new Bokeh Lights Stencils , my new favourite product !! I think it made a beautiful background for the sentiment :-)

Then I had the idea that a fairy sprinkles sparkly fairy dust, so I added a wand :-)

I used Silver Sparkle Embossing Powder for the sentiment on this one.
