House Mouse 'Party Hats'

Hi all :-) I am here with a super cute Happy Hopper 'Party Hats' card for the new theme just starting over on the House Mouse and Friends Challenge :-)

This week it is the lovely Dorte's turn to choose ,,,,

PAPER PIECING

paper piecing is one of my fave techniques, it is especially handy when you make a mess of colouring something and you can just cover it up with some patterned paper,, I use it often ,, haha :-)

I used this very cute Happy Hoppers Party Hats image, the little hats are perfect for this technique I think, very easy to fussy cut :-)

I bought this Hello Darling paper pack a while ago and forgot about it !! The papers are gorgeous, lovely quality and beautiful designs, the colours are muted and so pretty.

I also finished the inside.

This little fella is from an old large 'Hoppy Fliers' stamp.

Wild Rose Studio 'Girl and Snowman

Simon's Leaves and Scribbles 'Thanks' and Breaking News Alert

Hi all :-) I am here with a card using the Leaves and Scribbles stamp set together with the coordinating dies and Leaf Background stamp that are all from the Simon Says STAMPtember® release.

To make the background I inked some plain white cardstock using Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge and Forest Moss Distress inks. I then spritzed the Leaf Background stamp with water and stamped the paper. I love the effect this technique gives.

For the leaves I inked the stamp with the same inks and spritzed with water before stamping onto watercolor paper and die cutting.

For the 'thanks' I die cut 3 times from white card and then inked with white pigment ink before embosssing with sticky stuff and sprinkling with glitter ritz glitter.
